Hidden Garden

The staff were wonderful, very accommodating and especially helpful to me, as a partially disabled person. I also appreciated breakfast being included. The entrance has stairs without a railing, which was precarious for me. The staff was very accommodating, covering my non-cane side, but it would have been nicer to be able to go up and down safely by myself. The shower was a step-in type---which was good---but had regular tile flooring, without a bathmat or rubber strips, and there was no grab rail at all. I decided for safety's sake to forego showering. The sink had only cold water, too, which I know is common, but since I couldn't safely take a shower, it made keeping clean uncomfortable.

The shower was cold, and the wheater was 8 degrees Celsius.

It is well priced Beds are too hard and it’s way to noisy. Even the workers who start early to make breakfast talk loudly and they should know better.

Little confortable hotel

The hot water is limited - first come first serve in the morning, and at night! Excellent value for the price regardless.

There was not hot water for a shower late at night. The turn off the heater to the water at night. They turned it back on for us, but it never got hot. The toilet was leaking into the floor. It appeared as though it was never properly fastened to the floor and only had caulk. The beds are a bit soft and you sink into them. You can hear everything in the other rooms and outside. The pillows were very thin.

Location There was not hot water when we arrived and the room was cold. When I asked about the hot water, they said in 20 mins it will be fixed. Didnt happend. So we couldnt take hot shower till the morning. Also the stuff was drinking alcohol. In the morning there was no corn flakes or cereals for breakfast (last time we were there they had them), juice is from powder. The cheese had flavor of bleach :(

I had issues twice with time spent on cleaning the room after we arrived.

They canceled our reservation on the day of because we took too long to respond (a matter of hours) because we didn't have signal because we were hiking out of Machu Picchu. When we did get signal and reach out, they didn't bother to reply.

Overall it was ok. The staff was really nice. It was clean. Good value for money. No hot shower. Limited breakfast. Location could be better, but uber is really cheap.

The volunteers were super nice. So I just spent one night. I needed a week, but seeing the bad comments on google, I decided to test the place before paying in advance. Also I wanted to leave this alone and deleted the first email asking for a review... but they sent another one asking for it, so here you go: They charge like a hotel but don't want to deliver the quality that corresponds to that price. What they deliver you can find (or better) in a random 20 soles hospedaje on the street. There was no hot water and I had to complain several times before they put it on. It didn't seem like it was an actual problem with water, more like they cut the gas to save money and pretend there's a problem, and unless you complain a sufficient amount of times, they just won't put the gas on.. They also, believe it or not, cut ham slices into four quarters (I had to put a picture it was so ridiculous yet funny) to make it appear like the plate is full when it's actually like 1 slice and a half... like, come on, how is a 5 floor hotel gonna have breakfast on that? Obs they have to refill it.... if you ask... but its such a cheapskate presentation to start with...Bread was dry, probably from 2 days ago. The breakfast is miserable. Water for tea was lukewarm so I asked for it to be heated, they just filled my thermos with more lukewarm water pretending they had heated it (i assume trying to save on gas again). When I complained again, they used the microwave oven, which...was disconnected, surely to save on the digit lights electricity. That's just a stupid detail, but it kind of adds to the theory of the owners beings cheapskates that try to save every penny by delivering less than what they advertise. Also they charge you fees or taxes that they shouldn't or cheat you on the exchange rate. I moved across the street, the price in USD was the same, but once changed, it was 10 less soles per night.

There were no hot showers.

Friendly staff. Good stay. Little noisy in room at night due to noise from lobby. Far from centre but convenient for bus station.

WiFi not always working

The bedroom was clean and the bed was good for sleep The guy attending in the evening was rude, and the lady attending the day was helpful to a point but when I asked if she could lock my baggage up somewhere for a few hours she said she would and simply didn’t saying it was fine because there were camera in the public area. There was no fitness area and it says there is and the breakfast was dried bread with a bit of butter and jam. People were making noise till late at night and the wifi didn’t work in the bedroom. Pretty bad experience for me.

The hotel location is good for transfer to the airport. So you can walk from here to the airport in 30-40 minutes without taking a taxi. Most personnel and cleaning lady were nice and friendly. The main disadvantage is disrespectful lady at the reception. She attempted to charge me the price more that was listed in my booking. Than she told that I must present some migration card from Bolivia (where I have never been) which made no sense. Overall my check in process was rough and unfriendly. She didn't tell that breakfast is included in my booking so next morning I missed it.

Early check in Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The facilities and service were far below standard: Hot water: Most days, there was little to no hot water for showers. It was only turned on after we complained multiple times, which was very frustrating. No gym: Despite being listed on Booking.com, there was no gym at the hotel. No wifi: The wifi didn’t work the entire day, even though it was advertised as available. Poor breakfast: The breakfast was terrible. All we got were two dry rolls with half a slice of ham or salami, a small amount of butter, and some jam. Completely unacceptable. Misleading photos: The pictures on Booking.com are very misleading. The actual rooms look much worse than what is shown online. Extra charges: After complaining, we were offered a different room, which we gratefully accepted. However, upon checking out, we were charged nearly double the original price, with no prior warning about these extra costs when the room change was offered. In short, this hotel is misleading and provides awful service. I would not recommend it to anyone and will never stay here again.
