Chicland Danang Beach Hotel

We stayed at 5th floor and the balcony facing the Main Street. It was quite loud even it’s already 1 am. We still heard music from outside, street vendors or motorbike noises.

Would be nice if the elevators had air con but that is only a small inconvenience.

Beautiful hotel, great location near the beach, incredible rooftop area, stellar service. In particular, thanks so much to Billy for helping me check out extra early to catch a flight.

The hotel itself was really nice, in a great location. The pool with the view was absolutely incredible, and the room was also very comfortable. What I didn’t like about the hotel was the service—some of the staff came across as a bit rude. At one point, my husband actually had to ask one of the staff to calm down because she was being quite pushy and a bit aggressive, which felt unnecessary. The pricing also didn’t really match the overall level of the hotel. It’s not exactly a super high-end place, but beers were around 85,000 VND plus tax—basically close to 100,000—while most other places charge around 50,000–60,000, even at rooftop spots.

Good location. Near the airport and the attractions. Great rooftop pool. The receiptionist who handles our check in. She didnt gave us the correct room. Shes not well aware of the room description.

The Hotel located in 2-3 minutes from the beach across the street. Really cool lounge with signature drinks. Also infinity pool was perfect with great view. We had a room with a small balcony decorated by trees and green that looks really amazing. Also our partial sea view actually was a sea view because you can see everything from the balcony.

Breakfast is great with many options they even had soy milk which was amazing. Staff is exceptionally kind. Pool is very nice. Hotel is very modern clean with large hallways. Room was very disappointing and not as pictured. I booked for 4 people, and it only had 1 bed. I thought it had a pull out couch. I was expecting a fully equipped kitchen and usable refrigerator. The fridge is tiny and packed with stuff they charge for. Water is not complimentary. They charge for everything. Very overpriced, and not a good value. When I saw the room I asked to cancel the last 2 nights of the 5 night stay and they didn't allow me to, so we had to made it work. Very few places to put clothes and unpack suitcases and stuff. Almost no balcony. Pictures showed a very nice balcony that's what sold me on this place, but there was only a tiny balcony with plants with no sitting area, barely enough to stand. They gave us a rollaway bed that they charged us for per night. Shampoo conditioner and body wash all the same. Super overpriced hotel. The place I booked cancelled on us last minute because they overbooked it and I booked this place in a panic, and didn't do enough research. No cups, no silverware and they even charge for the coffee. Super disappointing because the hotel itself is very nice. No flexibility with cancelling if it doesn't suit your needs. In general most places here in Da Nang are flexible and understanding, but the policy at this hotel is very strict, with no flexibility whatsoever. I don't recommend for families, as they don't have larger rooms, and could not move us to a room with more beds. For single people or couples traveling with little luggage it may be worth it, but not for families. Showers were warm, but never hot. This would all have been ok if the hotel were reasonably priced.

Nothing The hotel restaurant at first floor is so expensive. One bowl of PHO cost 150k đồng but it tastes worse than a cup of instant noddle.

Staff at check-in were a little rude without any reason

A bit surprised, at checkout, they asked to pay Dong 90K ($3.5) for the laundry bag that my friend had put his dirty clothes in.

The location The property was pretty from the outside, but the staff and service were very subpar
