Leaf Beachfront Hotel Da Nang

I liked that it was by the beach and near the city It was too small, facilities were inadequate and staff were playing on their phones. It’s a good hotel if you plan on just sleeping. The swimming pool was small and we couldn’t relax by the pool as we were hoping to do. The rooms insulation was not great as we could hear noises at night while we tried to sleep. Worst part was that the staff seemed to not care about giving us

Looks just like the photos. Beautiful view of the beach just out the balcony. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast options were a bit limited, perhaps the selection could change day to day.

The Leaf was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in my life! The room was exactly like on the picture. The furniture and renovation are new. Very beautiful, great view and nice plants on the balcony. The stuff was very friendly. The breakfast were quite various for not a big hotel, every day they propose a special dish of the breakfast and will cook it for you if you wish. I don't eat meat but I didn't stayed hungry there. The shower was super nice and as the bathroom has a window, it dried quickly. And it's very comfortable that there is a sink in the room itself, so no need to wait another person to get out from the bathroom to wash the hands or to brush the teeth. Some people say that it noisy in the rooms with the sea view - it will be in all front line hotels , because a road under the hotels, but Leaf has blackout curtains, so we slept super well. Also some people say that there are insects in the room: here just apply a common sense and don't open the window with the lights on, then insects will not fly into your room. The location is perfect! Many different restaurants in 5-10 minutes walk. This area has less people then the one at My Khe beach, so you feel like you have your private beach with very clear water and golden sand) also no guards who will shout at you if you swim a bit further) The infinity swimming pool is very clean, beautiful, has beds, parasol, amazing view and usually no people there, so nece for swimming and pictures) Also as a recommendation - it would be great if Leaf provides some mini rack for hanging wet swimming suits. I noticed someone's hair on the balcony floor - not critical, but would be better not to see it)

Next to the beach

The room actually does look like the pictures. There was one member of staff who was friendly- he helped us with our bags and showed us to the room. We saw him doing tasks in the restaurant whilst the others stood around doing nothing. The location is bad, you can’t swim on the beach here and the restaurants are not great. You’re better off getting a hotel a bit further up the beach where you can swim and there’s a lot more going on. The pool is small and has limited deck chairs. They advertise that they have bikes that you can use, I’m pretty sure that they only have 2 for the whole hotel. Unfriendly staff who clearly struggle to do their jobs. Upon checkout we waited behind another guest in the queue, who was greeted and moved on in no time, when it was our turn the receptionist didn’t even manage to raise his head to acknowledge us. We left the card on his desk and walked to the front of the property to wait for our car, only when it arrived did he scurry out to let us know that we still had to pay for some crisps. Another instance we asked a member of staff where the bins were to dispose of the takeaway, he said that he would take the bag for us and had an absolutely diabolical look on his face whilst doing so. To this member of staff, next time you can just answer the question at hand instead of getting salty. This same member of staff also questioned whether we were actually staying at the hotel at breakfast (we’d come directly from the lift in the morning), and consulted his little spreadsheet; however five minutes later a group of boys walked in off the street in their pyjamas and he just asked if they wanted eggs. The list goes on…

Overall is good, walking distance to Be Man seafood restaurant The location is a bit far away from the center of My Khe beach, however the Son Tra beach is also wonderful

The room was smelly and didn’t feel clean. For that alone we didn’t enjoy our stay. The staff was also not friendly nor helpful. The breakfast was cheap and incomplete and the coffee was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, given there are plenty of alternatives in the area.

The room was very nice, bathroom and shower were very modern. The view of the ocean was very good. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

The most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in.? Quite far out from centre. An hours walk.

Pool was cold, but ok, not super clean, sometimes being cleaned without notice before. Breakfast, unfortunately. Found hair and things in it.
