De Lamour Hotel

Da Nang Beach is just less than 20 steps away from the hotel. Superb, clean and complete facilities. Breakfast is good, staff are friendly especially Ms. My My. If only I could give 6 stars, I would. Will book here again when we go back to Da Nang ??? None

Location is good Our room is so tiny , no window, humidity.

The location of this hotel is the best, right on the beachfront with easy access. It's easy to move around, and next to the hotel, there's a shop to purchase snacks and beverages. There are also some restaurants around the hotel, and bike rentals are available next to the hotel. The breakfast options could be more varied, and the menu offerings need to be reviewed. Having the same breakfast every day feels boring, even though there is food to eat. I recommend offering some American breakfast options, while the Asian food offering is good, like what we saw for four continuous days. However, daily menu exchanges could be considered. The coffee taste needs to be reviewed; it doesn't taste like black coffee. Otherwise, the staff at the restaurant are very helpful and kind; they are good at their job.

There is no hot water 90% of the time;

Great location & Great price. Very helpful staff We wanted 5 single beds for 2 rooms. The website makes it possible but it couldn't be done in reality. One of the rooms stank like urine & mould. The rooms were a bit stuffy but ok when we opened the windows.

Comfortable bed. At night, the staff is turning off the lights in the hallway. Doorbell in one of your room is not functioning. The heater is not functioning.

Close to the beach Room smelled musty, but being so close to the sea I can see this being an issue. The breakfast was good, but if you didn’t go early they start to put things away and don’t fill up plates. More fruit would be nice but overall enjoyable.

The cleaning staff broke into my room without knocking. Reception staff was rude. There are hidden charges to pay with card. The room descriptions and photos are intentionally very misleading.

The hotel had accepted my request for an early check in , over email ..but on arriving they didn't respect their commitment inspite of me showing them their email...Had to sit in the lobby for 2 hours with my family , including my 6 year old daughter , before arranging a different hotel ...

I like the cleaning crew. They are helpful and do their job exceptionall!

The first room had black mold but they did give us another room after we requested to be moved. The 2nd room looked fine but after staying in it, we noticed a sewer smell coming from the bathroom drains which we assumed was due to the flooding that was in the area recently. We just dealt with it and had the bedroom window open the whole time and the bathroom door closed while we slept.

Room service and breakfast good.

Breakfast It is a difficult thing for me to leave a negative review. To be honest, my family and I travel the world consistently. Our goal is to always try to find the good and stay positive. Unfortunately, this is a time I must be honest about this experience at the , " De Lamour Hotel " 46 Đường võ nguyên giáp, Mân Thái, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam At check out , my 17 year old and I were accused of taking two water bottles and breaking a ceramic soap dispenser. This was in front of everyone in the lobby. We absolutely denied breaking anything , and we were told 2 water bottles a day. We used 4 over 2 days plus our own waters we would buy in stores. We insisted on them showing us the broken item we were accused of and being charged for. Of course, upon entering the bathroom, there it was in full tact working condition, unbroken. The maintenance guy in the room was more apologetic than what I believe was the female manager accusing us. She then apologized for the " misunderstanding " . Then continued to charge us for 2 out of 4 waters. The 2 she charged for looked almost identical other than maybe half or less inch in height than the supposedly free ones that were also in the room . Honestly couldn't tell at first glance. 4 same looking bottles in there and 2 free a day. It was a scam for such a little amount is insane to treat paying customers like that and try to take advantage. Just what they put us through with accusations that weren't true trying to charge us, any business would have gladly given you the waters worth less than half a dollar. Just to save reputation at that point. We asked for a privacy sign, because they came banging in the morning while we were sleeping. We had to yell several times sleeping. They did give us a change of towels for second day , but never left the " Free " water bottles for us.

It's a decent stay with the best view in budget.

It was close to the beach. The hotel is run down and needs renovation. Breakfast was not what I expected. Should be a few more western options. Very noisy hotel with people talking loud and running up and down the halls.

The hotel was near the beach. There was a cockroach in our room.
