Taiyo is a fantastic hotel in a great location, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with a unique style. The Wi-Fi is some of the fastest I’ve found in da nang as there is a router inside each room. The staff was incredibly kind especially Rio & Helen. If I ever come back to da nang this will be my top choice to stay. Due to the location it can get quite loud at night, oftentimes the sound continues until around 3am, so either plan to stay up late or bring some earbuds. This is not the hotels problem tho, it’s just a trade-off for being in a great location.

Location The room is a bit small

Always clean. Every time we come to da Nang, we always choose Taiyo Hotel. The staff is amazing, especially Susie, Linda and Selena. Very helpful and dedicated to our comfort. Nothing negative about our stay.

The booking of the room was easy and the assistance in scheduling a transfer from the airport was so incredibly helpful. The driver contacted me via text shortly after my request via the hotel and he continued to stay in touch and was prompt and courteous. We checked in very late at 3 AM and the lovely front desk manager woke up in the middle of the night to walk across the street to check us in with warmth and a sincere sense of hospitality. The room was stylish, comfortable and had a view of the ocean. This was an excellent experience beginning to end. Thank you!

Building and rooms are well maintained. Great location. Nothing negative

The room (sea view) was amazing. Clear view to the ocean and windows on two sides allowed us to open all the windows and really feel like home. Small patio with chairs was perfect for observing the ocean and people watch. Staff is super friendly and highly supportive to your needs. Daily breakfast has enough changes day to day to allow multiple day stays without getting boring. Rooftop pool has amazing views! Location: perfect. Near everything An Thuong has to offer and a block from the beach.

Staff is great: interested, caring and helpful. Relatively new property, clean, very well-maintained, just 28 rooms, so it never seems swarmed. Just a very few minutes to the beach, adjacent to the international zone with all its eateries and services. I spent 22 nights here, satisfied with all. Small gym, rooftop pool, reasonable breakfast selection given the wide range of cultures staying at any one time.

The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. During rainy season they provided umbrellas, and motorbike rentals were very close by and reasonably priced. The hotel also feels very new—my room was modern, well equipped, and comfortable. Plus, the beach nearby is beautiful. The area is quite touristy and busy, and while the room was great, it could have been a bit more spacious.

This hotel/apartment exceeded my expectations in every way! I stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 3 weeks and it was perfect. The added bonus of a washer and dryer in the unit was great! The staff take such good care of you (especially Linda and Lisa at the front desk). The location was phenomenal, walk to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and markets in practically seconds. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Minor thing, but there is some construction and street noise now and then. Again, very minor and just part of living in My An.

We stayed here for about one month and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were so nice. We had the one bedroom suite and it was really nice. And the location is great, a short walk to the beach and dozens of restaurants. Highly recommended!

Great location, next to lots of cafes and a quick walk to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you could possibly need. Breakfast buffet was nice too

The breakfast was delicious. They change the breakfast menu everyday which made it more interesting. They variety of food that people would enjoy.

Constraction area, very bad service, didnt want to cancel the reservation. I came and the hotel in a construction area, a lot of noise and big mess around. Dont waste your money, i went to another hotel, and i lost my money. This is not the vietnam way, the stuff there are bad persons. They lie and not telling that the building is in construction area. i told them, and there answer was that its not there responsibility, they want that me or other guests will stay in construction area in a vacation. Read others reviews and you will see same. The good reviews are fake. Beware from that hotel and stuff. The staff and customer service are the worst. Dont care.

Location was fantastic. 2 minute walk to the beach and close to popular pick-up locations for tour buses. You can easily walk towards the town/away from the beach too and explore more local restaurants. It is the only single nice building surrounded by a lot of construction and run down buildings. Can't really blame the hotel for this, I'm sure everything including the surrounds will feel more nicer in future. But stepping out at times there are a lot of garbage trucks, carts and random noise activities because this hotel sits in a corner adjacent to laneways and some unused/run-down lots of land. Also, unless you get to the roof-top, you don't really get a 'beach view' as this hotel sits about 2 streets away from the beach with buildings in between. From the highest level/rooftop, you can just see the top half of the sea and top of the palm trees along the beach. The hotel is only about 7 floors high including the rooftop pool.

Likes: The staff were amazing for the entire 3 weeks of our stay. The breakfast was simple but consistently well presented and tasty. They always offered eggs cooked to order and soup made to order. The room (1 bedroom apartment) was great! Loved having a washer and dryer in the room. The full size fridge/freezer and mini stove was also much appreciated. The bathroom was awesome, providing a separate shower and bathtub. Also a bidet! The location was in a perfect spot for the “nomad’ area as well as numerous western food restaurants. Great spot for any type of cuisine. Only a few blocks from the beach. The value was also really good. Pricier than renting a 1 bedroom apartment but if you’re only planning on staying less than a month, it’s perfect. All and all, the Taiyo is a great find! Only bummer was the size of the gym. The rooftop swimming pool is great but not many lounge chairs but really, the only downside was the small gym.

The room was spacious and beautiful. The view of the ocean was great and the tub and shower were amazing. The washer and dryer in unit were convenient! The walls were a little thin and you could hear the neighbors. This place is also a month to month apartment so lots of children and they would leave their front doors wide open to their units. There was also a rooster that must have lived next to the hotel because it started crowing at 4 am. The breakfast also wasn't that great.

I can’t praise the staff of this hotel enough. Of course, the gym, rooftop pool, and exceptional cleaning standards are excellent. But what truly sets this place apart is how they make guests feel at home. I gave 5 stars, but they deserve 6 – the team goes above and beyond, paying attention to personal details and remembering all the small quirks and preferences that make each stay special. From reception to breakfast staff to housekeepers, everyone works in sync to deliver a seamless, warm, and personalised experience. It’s this thoughtful, united approach that makes all the difference

The hotel was very clean, in a great location and the facilities were great. The breakfast was always very good and well stocked with many different options. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure you had what you needed and were always very friendly. Nothing. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the 2 BRM style accommodation with the separate kitchen and lounge area, and also the full size fridge was a bonus too. The bathroom was not a winner in our opinion as we're a bit older and climbing into a bathtub to take a shower was not ideal. One of the biggest downfalls of this accommodation was the markets across the road that has a band playing most nights of the week till 10.30 11.00 and so if you're someone that goes to bed before that forget it, its soooo loud. Apart from those little things i would recommend this place for younger people as the location is good and its close to pubs, restaurants
