The Note Dalat - Hostel

The hotel is well located very easy access to markets, lake and wonderful bars and restaurants. The staff is so kind and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. I loved the yoga room on the 3rd floor for morning stretching.

Great location, some nice restaurants close by. Short walk to the center. The hotel and rooms were very clean and helpful staff. The breakfast was good. You can rent a motorcycle from the hotel.

The breakfast was surprisingly good ! The staff were very kind and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were comfortable. The bathroom setup for the shower was a little bit different and water splashes every where but the staff cleaned things up every day so no big concern.

The hotel was beyond our expectations! We loved every minute of our stay here! The staff was beyond kind and attentive! Close to downtown, but far enough away to be quiet. Would definitely come back here again.

Charming accommodations near the night market but situated away from the hustle of the streets.

Very pretty, lots of plants all over the property. Only a few rooms so very private. Breakfast is simple but the yogurt was good tasting. Good location, close to night market.

I loved the aesthetic ambiance, the cleanliness, and the pleasant scent throughout the place. The staff were also very thoughtful and accommodating. The breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented, with the added bonus of being able to choose where to enjoy it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The quirky, artistic decor and creative outfit makes the limited space of the place interesting and pleasant looking. The bathroom design is in some ways of a higher standard than the pleasant but simple outfit of the room and also has a large window which is a bonus! The gentleman running the place made an early check-in possible which was much appreciated after arriving from a very early morning flight. He also went out of his way to accommodate any special requests and is obviously very customer-first oriented. I would give him a 10 for his commitment to accommodating his guests! The hotel is only a short walking distance from the stairs that lead to the lower level of the area sloping down towards the lake. The lake is one of the highlights of Dalat and well worth a visit/ coffee/ meal, or walk. Breakfast is minimal choice, Western style only which I had not paid attention to when booking and hence, mostly ended up having breakfast elsewhere but still enjoyed the fresh Vietnamese coffee in the mornings. The immediate area around the The Note Dalat, while not far from some main attractions such as the lake, is in itself not particularly attractive, making the hotel a bit of an oasis in aesthetics against the backdrop of a less than attractive neighbourhod. Restaurant choices in this area are mostly of the very simple type, adequate to eat but not really to enjoy the ambience.

Superb

As soon as we arrived in the lobby, we felt the warm ambience created by the architectural features of the weathered steel stairway, terrazzo curved wall, and patterned floor. Our room with a balcony was comfortable, and the vases of fresh Gerbera flowers and aroma of spicy essential oils were a special touch. Location was ideal - just a five minute walk downhill to the Night Markets and Xuan Huong Lake. Enjoyed our conversations with Khanh, who was always very helpful and along with all other staff courteous and friendly. We were very happy we chose The Note for our stay in Da Lat.

The property was well located and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Nothing I can think of. I couldn’t see any air conditioning but we didn’t need it at the time of our stay.

The best stay I have had in my trip so far! Excellent hotel, clean with attention to detail, at a great location close to the centre but also in a quieter street. The staff is exceptional, very helpful and friendly providing help at any moment. The room was great and had all the amenities needed. Could not recommend this accommodation enough!

Quirky little hotel , close to every thing, very good staff, any questions about tours or sites to visit easily answered. Breakfast good each morning either downstairs in foyer area V8 or in room at your given time. value for money, and on checking out was given a small gift of a tote bag as a thank you for staying with them. Will stay again

Good position, priced well. We couldn't fault the staff, they were very helpful and welcoming. Came back from a full day exploring, and they would give you a cool drink. Even cakes one day. Thank you for a great stay. ? No leisure area to sit and relax, perhaps they should use the top floor as the breakfast room and lounge. The noise from the adjoining hotels was annoying, very early morning and late at night. Double glazed windows might have helped.

The man (sorry I can’t remember his name) at reception was so friendly, kind and approachable! It was nice to get tea on arrival and they let us check in slightly earlier. He also helped with a car to the airport for cheaper than Grab. The rooms were incredible, one of our favourite in Vietnam and we didn’t have any problems with noise like other reviews. We also loved the option to have breakfast in the room - you can choose from waffles, toast or yoghurt and oats.

Excellent facilities, great location and decor. Given there is no AC, a sheet on the bed would be great as the duvet can get very warm. But opening the window can mean mosquitos.
