The receptionist helped us print out something we needed which was helpful. Location is okay (around a 20 min walk to centre) as long as you don’t mind walking up a few hills to get to the main town! -no fridge (a fridge isn’t essential but it is nice to be able to keep water cold) -we stayed 4 nights and the cleaners/housekeeping only came once in that time -shower wasn’t the best and we had a few showers with no hot water -no window in the room (which we booked so can’t complain) but instead there’s a hole in the wall that leads out into the hallway which means there’s a lot of noise and light coming into the room at night -no aircon, just a fan -the bed was very uncomfortable and solid making it hard to sleep -lots of scuffs and scratches all over the walls and just generally not the cleanest room overall there’s probably better hotels closer to the town that are more comfortable and clean so wouldn’t recommend a stay here

Very convenient position, near the old town. The room is comfortable and clean, the landlady is nice and offers a delicious breakfast

The staff were friendly and managed to communicate with us even without English. They looked after our bags after checkout too. The room was extremely dirty. Even though it was a fairly modern room, it was very clear it had not been cleaned at all in quite a long time. The sheets were not clean with hairs all over and the floor was covered in hairs etc. The toilet was really bad, yellow, wet floor and dirt. The sink had long hairs and left over spit and the heads of the shower were grimy. The fan was covered in dust and walls covered in mould. This was probably the dirtiest room we’ve had in 3 months of hostel travelling Asia and was not the cheapest. You just cannot relax in the room without a clean bed no matter what. Don’t bother booking here.

Nice staff in reception, very helpfull. Walls are like paper, we could hear everything from outside. There were people making noise from 6am, impossible to sleep there. We even changed room, but we still suffered that noise every day. Very difficult to have a pleasant shower, as water change from burning hot to cold automatically.
