Happy Caretta Hotel

We stayed here few times and it is very green, magnificent view (the lake and the tombs) during the day and the night. Munir Bey and Ilknur hanım are both very kind, helpful and peaceful people

Excellent one night stay, small hotel with a beautiful garden overlooking the tombs accross the river, lovely hosts

Good location, easy walk to town, great view of tombs, relaxing sitting by the river watching sunset go down, host had good English and was helpful. Hallway was dark, room clean but nothing special, dogs barking interfered with sleep, basic breakfast, needs more fruit.

Loved everything about our stay here!! Just stay longer than one night like we did. Perfect location to relax on the river, tons of great restaurants to walk to, fantastic breakfast!

Exceptional

We loved the location, quiet enough but near to the town. Beautiful views of the carvings and right by the river. The hotels garden was well maintained and a little oasis. The rooms were very tired and need an update. The beds are very hard. The breakfast was basic and no drinking water provided without additional charge which is unusual for Turkey.

The best location you can stay in Dalyan. This is my second time in this hotel and everything looked better. Amazing views facing the rock tombs. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Close to the town center. So peaceful and quiet in the night. Would recommend it.

Superb location on the river in the middle of a lush garden. Very friendly owners and a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Good breakfast on the banks of the river. A wonderful place to explore the Dalian Delta and the Istuzu beach. Not meant as a critique but the rooms are very small and dark. If you have lots of luggage it is a bit of a challenge. The whole place lives from the outside settings, the beautiful garden, river and the friendliness of the owners. Not meant as an inside stay.

Idyllic location with beautiful gardens on the river. Peaceful and quiet, but close to town and restaurants. Beds were hard, pillows uncomfortable. Staff could have been more helpful.

Exceptionally located on the river. In a quiet lane a little walk away from town. A very pretty garden to relax in. Boats to various trips can pick up and drop off directly from the hotel. Nothing not to like, maybe the rooms may feel a little sparse for some.

Beautiful spot on the river. Garden exceptional. Staff lovely. The bed could have been more comfortable including softer sheets and towels.

Just the loveliest little garden backing on to the river (you can swim!) and the nicest Turkish breakfast anywhere (I will come back just for the pişi!). The owners are chill and welcoming. An easy 10 mins walk puts you in the centre of town. The local boats can pick you up from the backyard. There’s nothing not to like. It’s a basic bed and breakfast and the rooms are small and a bit dated (particularly the bathrooms), but perfectly comfortable.
