Restaurant, lobby, food, pool area Some building work going on outside which was annoying at times. The adjoining botanic gardens are closed which was a shame

The food was fantastic, the chef knows what he is doing . The room was clean Stuffy common area: the carpets in the lobbies / corridors had that water retention stentch

There was no Dental Kit in the room

The room size was tsmall. Lacked modern look and amenities.. It wasn't a comfortable stay.

Room are too tiny

I had cash with me and I forgot to put it in the safe since I was there for a padel tournament and I had to leave the hotel very early morning, I genuinely forgot. When I came back, before I went to sleep, I remembered it and when I checked, some money was missing. It was like they hoped I didn’t realize some amount was gone. I called the reception immediately and I reported it. I explained everything on a paper as well before my departure. But no news from the hotel.

Breakfast is very good for Tanzanian standards. Spacious and nice location The service at dinner was very slow although the restaurant was virtually empty and a lot of waiters around

We stayed for a total of three nights and had a very good experience. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and in a convenient location. The staff were attentive and made sure everything went smoothly throughout our stay. One small note: the shower takes a minute or two to warm up before the hot water runs consistently, but after that it works well. The real highlight was the restaurant and bar. Both offered great food, good variety, and excellent service — a big plus to have such a reliable option right on site. Overall, we were very satisfied and would be happy to stay here again.

The style of the hotel

Staff tired their to keep the guests happy but the property is run down. Rooms and corridors were smelly, carpet stinks and had to change room within 10 mins. This property lost the charm it once used to have pre-covid. No options for breakfast for vegetarians except for fruits, yogurt and juice.

Staff was fantastic. Location was 2 minutes from city center, 2 minutes from harbor, 2 minutes from golf club. Excellent breakfast. For long stays room should be bigger. But all in all, was good.

This is a good high end city hotel, set in its own grounds, with a pool and all the other amenities you would expect. The room was very comfortable, there was an excellent breakfast. The hotel is well located in a nice part of town and close to the center of the city

If you are coming to Dar for work/meetings and looking for a comfortable stay, this is the place. Breakfast was good.
