Fitness center was good. Spacious room. Enjoyable stay.

We were assigned a large but junior suite. Cherry wood cabinet full kitchen, black and blue granite à la 2000, over polished oak floors, pit-group living room, sumptuous bathroom with nice amenities, comfort and style. When I stay in Davenport, I always stay at the BlackHawk. The Current is also an autograph property should the BlackHawk be booked. You can choose other properties that fail in many aspects or choose the BlackHawk. I’ve shared my choice… One concern: when walking in the main entrance off the parking lot, note the unstaffed desk littered with someone’s work. The luggage carts are found beside it. Help yourself, as no one else will. Next walk down a long corridor to check-in. Note, there are not luggage carts here. While there, if you parked in the property parking lot, ensure to ask for the parking token. No one shares you will need one, but trust me, you do. To Marriott: maybe a walk-in review of the check-in process. Thinking about staffing placement, signage, guest flow. What separates a great property from a nice property…making guest movement and needs effortless in a luxury setting with a kind, professional and attentive staff. Your phone is ringing…pick it up.

Overnight stay on long road trip with two dogs. Perfect, quiet, comfortable place to sleep and reset before continuing. Very clean!

The historic property is beautiful in general. We booked a last minute room and the backdoors that are next to the parking lot are locked. The number listed to call staff doesn’t work. We had to bang on the locked side door to get into the hotel! Once we got in the gentleman running the desk alone, was not very welcoming or kind. In fact, he seemed bothered to have to unlock the door. We told him the number on the back door. didn’t work, he did not seem to care. This was a last minute booking after the MV fair- we were too tired to drive back to Chicago. We asked him for complimentary tooth brushes and he gave one for 2 people. When i asked for another, he acted like it was coming out of his check. He needs a course on customer service.

When i first arrived i was not properly greeted and when i was it was not pleasant, the room i booked had a picture of the jetted tub and thats the very reason i booked it. However when i arrived at Blackhawk hotel i didnt feel welcome and i checked in i rmemeber book a specific room based on the oictures i seen on hotels.com and when i asked if my room had the jetted tub,as confirmation, the rep said "no and i cannt change your room because it was booked thru 3rd party!" SO i didnt say anything, but i didnt not get the room i booked and the hot tub in the pool area didn't work our ice machine on the 3rd floor didnt work either. It was not workth the money and the staff was not friendly at all..

My friend and I stayed last night and from the minute we walked in the door to check in I think his name was Stephen was so warm and welcoming. The check in process was so smooth and quick. He explained everything to us about the parking and how to get in and out. We checked out this morning and he was still working the desk which was a pleasant surprise. He greeted me again and ask how everything was and thanked us for staying with them. He is a wonderful worker that is great with guest. We loved the hotel and will be back again!

That shower design in 310 is bonkers. And the foldout sofa was an obstacle in what was clearly a room designed for less space to be taken up at the entrance. The lobby and reception areas were grossly understaffed, and every encounter was clunky. Sundries under-stocked, other guests’ reservations neglected, towels and washcloths under-stocked, and replacements were more bother than they should have been. Compared to other Autograph hotels I’ve been in (eg Ft Worth), this property is not worthy of the designation.

The design, it felt like Luxury from the Lobby, the Elevator and Room! Just a beautiful hotel Staff were amazing Room could of been a little cleaner. TV in bathroom didn't work, the A/C blows right on the bed and you can't adjust it. I didn't like that and microwave still had food in it from previous person. Little things but still.

We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago. More complimentary amenities were offered then, including free/reduced parking and a complimentary drink for adults. It was disappointing to not have these offered this stay. The hotel itself was in overall good condition, though the wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling off and the hot tub water was warm at best. For the luxury feel of parts of the facility it would be great if the property was better maintained. The location was perfect for participating in the Bix 7 race. The staff was friendly but the night staff struggled a bit with our directions to provide a key to one of our group who was arriving late (we were assured by the daytime staff it would be okay as long as we noted their name and they provided ID). It all worked out in the end.

The hotel definitely had charm/character and is well located. The room was a bit disappointing as the pull out bed had soiled sheets and a stained mattress. Didn't contact the front desk as it was late (solution: slept 2 in one of the main beds). There is a parking fee that I was unaware of when booking but the lot was nice and seemed secure.

Great room, lots of space. Really liked the art deco vibe and the bowling alley was fun! Staff is friendly and easy walking access to restaurants.
-
The air conditioning was in efficient and they know it is too
-
Great iconic hotel! Pool not great but we weren’t there to swim!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are spacious. They have all the modern amenities. The bed was wonderful, the bathroom was so clean and luxurious. There was a deep soaked tub and a beautiful, big shower and a television in the mirror in the bathroom, so you could watch TV from the tub. We would definitely stay there again.
