When we checked in initially we got a room that had a broken TV & there was quite a bit of damage on the furniture in the room. We asked the front desk to switch us to a different room & they quickly did & our stay was fine after that. The other guests in the hotel were loud & rowdy, even at night, but I don’t think that could have been helped due to all the events being held there. Don’t think it was quite worth the price but good enough for what it was for.

The smoke alarm went off three times in the middle of the night just in our room. No it wasn't the batteries. They moved us after the second time, but nee still heard it again well moving out. We heard it again around 9:30 when we were getting ready to leave. The manager was nice enough to refund our payment, even though the clerks told us it wasn't possible.

Good lighting in the room, especially the bathroom. Firm beds with 4 pillows on each bed. Ample storage and counter space. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was available at 6AM everyday! Good area around the hotel for walking to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was not included in the room rate. There was no shampoo in the room (2 bottles of conditioner, no shampoo). When I went to desk to get shampoo., they said they would make a note to house keeping to put shampoo in my room for my 2nd night. I returned for my second night, no shampoo was put in my room.

I just hated that finding a place to park was a nightmare. I felt that $50.00 for valet parking was outrageous.

Exceptional

No bar in room--no free breakfast. Restaurant breakfast grossly overpriced. The brewery side was very generic, with an overwhelming, moldy smell.

Every time I visit my son in college I stay here. Always greeted friendly by staff, rooms are quiet and clean and the best part is the safety I feel staying here.
