Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport West by IHG

Staff was a bit unhelpful. I was charged $100 which will not be refunded for up to 10 business days but I couldn't charge anything to my room. Food selection was poor at best. Beds were very comfy. Had a really good nights sleep. Pool was small and hot. The waffle house was right next door but not open after 9pm except for take out with a 20% upcharge. We had to go downstairs for everything. Towels, extra linens for the sofa bed, etc. Nothing was delivered. They had no wake up call service. Coffee was good. I'd stay again just for 1 night because the rooms were clean and comfy, price was reasonable and proximity to the airport with free shuttle service. But this is a no frills hotel.

Cleanliness

The property was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and parking was easy and hassle-free. All of the basic amenities were available, and the rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a convenient stay. Overall, it’s a great option in an excellent location.

This hotel was of the chain clean beautiful convenience to shopping and the airport the room was excellent everything about this hotel I loved and enjoyed wish I could have stayed a little longer

Rooms are very spacious and clean.

That they kept the hotel sparkling and clean rain or shine someone was there to dry the floor each step you made while it was wet. Everyday my was room cleaned, each day I went out and came back and I stayed there 5 days .I must say I made the right choice when I chose that hotel . There was a kitchen morning staff that greeted me each morning just as I came out the elevator with a smile a “Good morning breakfast is ready” quote “COME ON OVER WHAT CAN I GET FOR YOU TODAY?” Was her number one question.🤗

Two downsides: 1. There's only 1 elevator and its really slow. 2. Breakfast ends at 9:00 am on weekends, which to me, its too early.
