Delta Hotels by Marriott Daytona Beach

Horrible customer service. Noise complaint about a tv. Could not accommodate a different room if the people in the next room could hear it. The volume was at a normal level. Very disappointed for a Marriott. Stayed a total of 5 hours paid for two days! Never again!!!!

Room was clean and staff were friendly.

This hotel was amazing! So clean you can eat off the floor, lol! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the pool and the beautiful Atlantic. I can’t wait to go back!

The property was clean.

Breakfast was good, location was fine. Pool area was nice. Bar tender was a little crabby about giving out some ice, parking was a little tight, elevators very small and slow. Other than that staff was nice food was good. Didn’t care for charging us to park in the hotel parking lots.

Property was beautifully maintained and the rooms were super comfortable. The rooms and hotel were extremely clean. Perfect for a trouble free vac. Staff were very friendly and plentiful. Will be returning for sure.

The view was GORGEOUS. I definitely felt like i got what i paid for (ocean front balcony) The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos as advertised. It was convenient to all the places i visited (the boardwalk, the fleamarket, I even went to Cassadega) The staff was amazing, they always greeted me when i walked, even if they already saw me earlier. It was wonderful and i have zero complaints

The Delta hotel by Marriott in Daytona Beach was nice, however I think it is overpriced. My room was average and adequate but not worth the price. The bedroom carpeting could use a good cleaning, nothing really terrible but some obvious stains and dirt. The breakfast was average but otherwise good. Additionally, I was not made aware of an $18 parking fee to park on the property as I think that should have been noted upon check in. The hotel property inside and out was very nice and well kept.

Great choice for a hotel right on the beach. Good food and great staff.

The Bad: Not a lot of restaurants, stores, etc. near by The Ugly: The Elevators, $18/day parking fee The hotel charges a pretty hefty $18/day parking fee that was not disclosed (as far as I know) by Expedia. If I had known this we may have ditched the rental car. Initially, due to our late arrival, we were given "the last room available" on the second floor near the elevator and the ice maker. This seemed like bad luck but it actually wasn't. The one big problem with this hotel is that there are only two VERY slow elevators and one is prone to break down. So I would recommend a room close to the beach side of the second or third floor where you have access to the stairs. There is no real view if you aren't staying in one of their suites. The Pool area is OK. There are plenty of chairs but lacking in umbrellas so get to the pool early and stake you a space with umbrellas. The beach was nice and clean with chair for rent. Our only experience with the bars was using the 2 free drink coupons and the drinks didn't have much oomph. But you can bring your own drinks into the pool area so we did that. The one breakfast we had was OK but a little expensive ($18) for a small breakfast burrito with potatoes and orange juice. As for food outside the Hotel I don't recall too many options within walking distance. I don't think we would go back to this hotel due to the location and questionable elevators.
