Very nice historic house. The breakfast every morning was fantastic.

We had a wonderful time at the 1899 inn. The breakfast was wonderful. The owners were so interesting to visit with. Aaron knew so much history about the Deadwood area. The inn is so close to the downtown area of Deadwood. We will be back for another stay when we are back to the Black Hills.

Hospitality of innkeepers. It was filled with lots of history and items to view for the past. We felt like we were staying at family members home so it was very comfortable. Relaxed on front porch and in living room whenever we chose to. Onsite parking was tricky but innkeepers ensured all guests were comfortable with their arrangement so it all worked out. No complaints

I love all the antiques very beautiful home. The parking was terrible and I know it’s nothing against the owner because the city doesn’t allow them to park in front of the house, but it was kind of ridiculous how we had to park

Very well done remodel for this Inn! We were welcomed with good instructions on how to enter. Ambient lighting was on, which was a nice touch. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning works well (although one dripped on the inside - so don’t put your suitcase below it like we did). Tv was on when we arrived but we didn’t watch it. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There were 2 balconies- one small off the living area- the door was tricky to close from the humidity outside. The other balcony was wonderful to sit for coffee, etc. we had 4 people but could fit more. (This was off one of the bedrooms) The outside area is beautiful but meant for use by downstairs occupants only. The library was lovely- luckily because we spent a little time there when we entered our room code incorrectly a couple times and it locked us out for a bit We stayed and got passes to the Moccasin Hot Springs- we used them each day and also got the best massages ! Highly recommend- (Robes at the hot springs are $20 unless you book a service. ) I would certainly stay here again!!!

The room was clean, comfortable, and full of charm, and the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious. Every detail made us feel welcome, and we can’t wait to come back. We highly recommend staying here!

I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Deadwood. Clean, well maintained, wonderful bed and linens. Great bathroom. Food was good. Conversation was wonderful. Staff was very helpful. It is a spot to get away to quietness in a busy town. I highly recommend you stay in this B and B.

This historic house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We had the attic room which is extra large and has an amazing spa shower. The proprietors took great care to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at 1899!

The 1899 Inn is in a lovely historic house conveniently located just a couple blocks out of the town center. It has parking off the street and offers a nice (tho not super copious) breakfast to guests. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They are also very knowledgeable, happy to share the area’s history.
