La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Southwest Lakewood

We stayed here 3 years ago and it was acceptable. The place has gone downhill since then. Cracked tiles in the lobby, carpet smelled bad in the hallway and our room, and the sink in our bathroom had a huge Crack in it. Also, the sofa was filthy. Would not recommend, would not stay there again.

Breakfast was very basic but everything else was perfect.

Upfront the TV controller did not work. They had no one on site who could program it. The fix was for me move to another room on a different floor the next day. I was hung up on when I told them it was crap they had no one to fix it. I asked about cleaning a room which is by request. I was told at 8am, the day was full. Tiffiny was the nicest one on staff. But I will not return there or any other

There was confusion about the credit card used for incidentals. Staff at the front desk were telling us something completely different than people on the phone working for Wyndham. It was a frustrating mess checking in.

Room was dirty, hotel is in need of repair

Staff was friendly. The manager was welcoming and engaging. The bed was really comfortable. The carpets were filthy. It is a dog friendly hotel and the carpet in our room was filthy. It was covered in stains and smelled of urine. The volume on the TV did not work, so we were unable to turn it down.

Didn't care for the baking dogs on my floor

Where do I start? We stayed for 4 nights and didn’t have hot water in the shower for 2 of those.The other 2 nights were Luke warm and then would turn ice cold. The back door going into the parking lot would lock so you couldn’t go out and back in. The pool was closed the whole time (June and temps in the high 90’s) and the carpets were filthy.

Facility is ok. They don't take care of room items. Channel selector didn't work. Told me to unplug all hook ups to TV and try that. Lights out, didn't work. Elevator slow and didn't work at times. Poor breakfast. Bad coffee.

The hot water didn't work for two full days and the pool was closed the entire time we stayed at the property.

Terrible stay. No Hot Water! When I called, the front desk said that the maintenance man would work on it when he arrived at 8. No effort was made to get this problem fixed sooner. No offer was made to do anything at all about the fact that I had to leave by 8 and couldn't wash my hair due to frigid water. The parking lot is far too dark. Further, the front desk announced to me that the front doors were the only way in. When I was leaving in the morning, I saw that a back door was propped open.
