Villa Stefy

When they finally opened the gate, we saw that Villa Stefy was beautiful. Then they told us that the toilet in our room was not working. They took us to a different house that was a dump. We had no other options but to stay. At the different house we were told that the whole apartment was for us. Then in the middle of the night people came in, turned on lights and said they were also staying in the apartment in the other bedroom. It was a total nightmare. I think they overbook Villa Stefy and then tell people there is a problem with the bathroom, so you have to stay in the old house where there is also no breakfast.

Then hosts were so kind, they made our stay in Dervio special

A lovely house with a great view over the lake. Elena and Mario were very friendly and caring hosts. We were a little unsure if we could use our Visa to pay but they sorted this out for us. We had also had difficulties with catching a train or bus from Bellano to Dervio the day we arrived so we were concerned about how to get back to Bellano for our continued travels. Mario was so very kind and offered to drive us there instead of a taxi. Finally I should say that Elena and Mario served a fabulous breakfast,including some fresh pastries cooked by Elena.

Location, view on the lake Garda. Private parking - garage. Nice room.Big kitchen with living room. Very fiendly owners.

The lighting in the room was very harsh, a warmer lightbulb in the bedside tables would have made a huge difference.

Very warm people, we feel like at home. The rooms are spacious, quiet, you can see the lake through the balconies. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Total disappointment. The owners cancelled the booking without any reason and without notice, I accidentally found out about it the evening before the trip, when I was checking the check-in time. I booked a month before. They simply said - you cancelled by mistake, we don't have any rooms. Contact Booking. They answered calls and messages rudely. Booking sorted it out and promised compensation. I had to look for accommodation at the last minute. It would have been fun if we had arrived without writing the day before. No one told us anything . Super unprofessional. Our vacation with a birthday celebration was almost ruined. Cheap prices - the same quality of service and safety of your plans.

Elena and her husband made us so welcome, it was like staying at your Nans house Xx

Elena & Mario welcomed us like we were their family. Not much not to like.

The view, breakfast and hosts are great. Rooms are all conected with central kitchen so in the morning you can not sleep because of the noise of other people eating and talking.
