Hotel was in such a great location. Surrounded by multiple restaurants and bars and an easy walk to all sports arenas/fields. Our room was clean. Staff were friendly. Cafe made a great iced chai latte.

A Stunning 1920s Escape in the Heart of Detroit! If you want to step inside a time machine and experience the pure glamour of 100 years ago, you must stay at The Siren Hotel. Located in the historic Wurlitzer Building, this boutique hotel is a masterpiece of retro design and nostalgia. From the moment you walk into the lobby, the vintage antiques, terrazzo floors, and velvet curtains make you feel like you have stepped right into the Roaring Twenties. The attention to detail is incredible. The rooms are designed like cozy historic "jewel boxes" with mid-century furniture and beautiful custom-tiled bathrooms. The absolute highlight of the trip was visiting Candy Bar, the hotel's hidden cocktail lounge. The entire room is draped in floor-to-ceiling pink velvet and lit by a massive, breathtaking Murano glass chandelier. The drinks are just as magical as the decor—they taste like high-end, sophisticated twists on childhood candy flavors.Because it is a true historic property, the rooms are a bit smaller but the incredible atmosphere and unique soul of the place make it entirely worth it. It is hands-down the coolest, most stylish hotel in Detroit!

I just expected more for the amount that I paid. The place is kind of in need to repair. The television didn’t work. It was an average room, not worth the price.

The Sirens’ unique decor was interesting and inviting. The room size was small as advertised, but its location is ideal for walking to nearby venues and free transportation.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Didn’t have a frig or coffee maker in the room. Tiny rooms, kinda like being in a city motel you see in the 70’s movies. Halls are very dark, I get it but some of us need a little light to see.

Very nice place in a great location. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very cool and unique hotel. A refreshing change from typical rooms.

It was a great location for catching a baseball game.

Very nice hotel! Close to Comerica and many restaurants and shops! Would stay again!!

Great location, amazing price! Hidden gem all the way!

Great location for Comerica Park. Plenty of restaurant nearby.

The Siren Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Detroit, with many key destinations within walking distance or Q-Line lightrail. The older property has been meticulously renovated to provide travelers with an intimate and cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a speakeasy. Rooms were comfortably appointed and staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Great location, great property, and great on-site staff. Highly recommend!

Ask for a room on the street side away from the loud central AC unit that ran all night. Add $50.00 for parking plus tips - this was not listed in my reservation info (Thank you Expedia) We could not pay for parking at the front desk during check out - it had to be done on the street (uncomfortable/unsecure to use a CC reader on the street, so I used cash). Good points - clean room, but as stated very small, nice staff, good location for the ball parks, security people in many of the local hotel and restaurant front doors (I am not sure if that will help you feel safe or not - it helped us feel safer) Nice people in the area.

Our room was clean, but small. The biggest negative was the traffic noise all night long

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Upon check-in my room was given to someone else. The room I ended up getting was smaller with a double bed. Upon checkout when our car was returned from valet, our car was hit in their parking garage. An overall disappointing stay from check in to check out. It felt like the staff at check in, The Candy Bar and the coffee shop didn’t know what they were doing.

The hotel itself was fine, the location was in town was great, only complaint was there was no fridge in our room for leftovers from dinner. The recording studio next door and the insane volume of people smoking right out in front of the hotel left a lot to be desired for a hotel at this price point. Certainly not something I want my children to see and be around.

Most definitely enjoyed our stay at The Siren. We’ll be back again.

A coffee maker was noticeably absent. So were towel racks...the only one was inside the shower. Hotel wasn't as nice as Hotels.com described it. The housekeeping staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Very disappointed in the fact that there wasn't coffee available for free or even free refills. Minimal breakfast choices, and again, nothing complimentary.

Just stayed the night after a concert, so not much time in facility...but really cool spot & the location was fantastic. Would come back anytime, old timey vibe, without missing any new stuff we are all used to.
