The owner clearly cares about the property. It is well lit, secured and feels safe. They are updating what they can, and for the rate you really can’t beat it. It’s super super close to everything in Detroit you could want to do. Honestly, maybe more towels in the room from the start, but otherwise no complaints. They’re doing great!

Location and parking are great. We walked to a show at Comerica Park about 17 min The sheets were dirty. A few outlets didn’t work.

This location is perfect for a quick overnight to the city. The price is great and property is maintained. The staff was very helpful and nice Other than cosmetic flaws, this place is great!

I stayed there for a whole week. First time in Detroit and first time staying at a motel in the US alone as a girl, I was quite worried about safety. Upon my arrival, the male manager (Shane) was very helpful in explaining why my concerns lacked basis. He very generously changed my room twice at the beginning because I initially thought I might be more comfortable in those rooms regarding my concerns (I believe they didn't differ at all at the end of the day). He just responded very patiently, nicely, and respectfully to my concerns. He also checked a few times to see if my concerns had been resolved and if I was feeling safe and all right. In fact, both managers were nice and helpful. The female manager accommodated an early check-in. I frequently left my laptop and other precious belongings at the motel (I usually don't in a rental), and it wasn't a problem. I'd give a 10 for safety and staff. The place was also very quiet and only a 1-minute walk from the bus line 3, which I frequently used. I have nothing negative to say, except to remind you that you're not going to get a fancy place by any means. Just a very basic space to stay for a work trip or, otherwise, a cheap one. If you need to be downtown, this is definitely worth it. Although the place is downtown, I still had to take the bus frequently, and I didn't find Detroit to be a pedestrian-friendly city. So maybe I could have stayed somewhere farther from downtown.

Located directly across the street from the casino and close to the freeway. The WiFi was horrible. Couldn’t figure out how to work the TV, but the manager came over and fixed the issue.

The mattress felt new and was VERY comfortable. The shower head provided great pressure. Otherwise, the hotel is older, being refurbished, and worth the $94 per night - much cheaper than surrounding hotels. The hotel is older, from an earlier time, when hotels were not expected to be as fancy. I took a room there because it was just me, and I needed a cheap place to stay for one night. If my wife had been with me, she wouldn't have liked it.

Pleasant. Close to the Center Seemed a little risky, possibly unsafe. Needs upgrading in mattresses, lighting, bedding, lighting.
