I needed a fisherman's type hotel for a fishing trip in Texas City. This place was well maintained and impressive given the rates of the rooms. The staff was great as well.

Tim can use a lamp and fan in restroom should have the ability to turn off when light is on.
-
Nice renovation no bugs staff wasn’t understanding we had a room reserved and kept wanting to charge us a room but just miscommunication. Ac was off when entering which was sucky due to Texas weather. Hard wood everywhere and cleaned was nice. Environment wasn’t negative

Best stat ever

The suites are huge and have all been renovated. Variety of eating establishments nearby, from fast food to sit-down restaurants.

Overall, it was a good value for the price and worked well as a temporary stay. Personally, I prefer hotels with a more modern, contemporary lobby and overall atmosphere, so I probably wouldn't stay here again. However, if you're simply looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night, this hotel gets the job done.

The shampoo and body wash were broken. I’m unable to use it.

Pillows aren't comfortable. Average room for the money!

Everything was good, would stay again. One of the locks to the door didn't work. But everything was good!

Clean room.CHECKED✓✓✓✓.No fear of 2 star hotel bed bugs.Excellent Tidiness.Very little wear/tear to table/couch/bed frame or anything easily visible.. Not even the bathroom's glass sliding door bath shower floor NO MOLDY kauk(white seal to wall).Thank goodness. Or I just got a really nice room. OH. ONLY.. I smell the badly behaved prior occupant who SMOKE in there..very faint but my nose is HYPER SENSITIVE.ac caught e smell. Front desk was honest; DOUBLE ASKED IF I SMOKE.. ahhh sorry for the operator/cleaning staff. Now, still. B back soon. GREAT location. Not too many strange car/no one lounging out in corridor/SMOKING ON 2nd floor balcony. Mostly NEW cars so I guess the guest are all polite /decent. VERY quiet. AC on full blast and is still COLD.Blowdryer/ice bucket/microwave/fridge/NO coffeemaker.DID NOT use TV/there is cablebox? No REAL coffee/breakfast. Parkin gets FULL but that's 2b expected at 10pm. NO TRASH IN PARKING SPACE N GROUNDS ARE WELL KEPT. There's a guest washing/drying machine next to office in an open area. I checked it out: it's VERY CLEAN. No wifi. It's really like a real real decent motel 6 in the early 90's. Too bad ppl are now all inconsiderate of public or private property just cause money is spend so so-called job security;ugh Respect ppl. Please consider this place as your next best short stay coming to Galveston area if you are short on budget. The property's atmosphere should be consider as a simple lodge. Not a grand beauty walk in M or H.Cheers.

The room was clean, and the air conditioner worked great. I was disappointed with the bath towels. They were thin, and there were only 2 towels for 2 people. Women need an extra towel for their hair. The first day of cleaning during our stay, Housekeeping left one clean towel and one of the towels we had used that morning. I had to go to the office for another towel. My other complaint is that there was no sign to hang on the door if you wanted to not be disturbed. Housekeeping showed up at 9.30 each morning but we were trying to sleep in. Overall, our stay was good.

We stayed two nights (Fri&Sat) and found it a safe place to stay however there was a drunk tenant upstairs listening to hard rock, drinking and smoking pot. The door to our unit 112 was not sealed as you could see light thru it even at night. We secured it with desk and chair and slept well. Would also note paint needs to be completely redone in that room as touch up paint spots look horrible. The sheet had a stain and the wash rags as well. I would bring my own as it doesn't appear stains are a problem for management.
