Coffee Fellows Hotel Dortmund

Rooms are clean, everything worked, there was an AC which is very appreciated. Lounge room is great, we could sit down and do some work before the day. Location is well connected, albeit the city center is quite... weird. There are blinders on windows, which is good. No issues with the washroom or beds or the room itself. Beds were soft, no discomfort after a night of sleep. Check in was smooth. We had to do an early checkout, and it was resolved relatively quickly. It takes a moment to find the entrance. While the self check-in is convenient, it felt a bit weird compared to other hotels - why did they need to know my nationality? The beds were relatively narrow, my travel companion almost fell down during the stay. Also, early checkout was a bit cumbersome - we had an opportunity to leave earlier, but I had to go downstairs, ask Barista to call a colleague, and only after ~10 minutes were we sure that we checked out properly. Also, sound isolation is not perfect - during the night, I heard neighbors using their washrooms, water flowing, AC making weird noises. In general, I felt like I haven't really properly slept, even though I woke up rested, so maybe I was just weary of sleeping in a new place. Breakfast price is also pretty steep, though I guess it is expected from a fancy coffee shop, but there are several bakeries in the neighborhood.

Everything was good overall, very clean room, nice location, self check-in oppourtiniy and so on. But the mobile app didn't work to unlock the room door. Fortunately, there is a convenient option to get a physical room key by using the self-check-in kiosk on the third floor.

The WiFi on the 4th floor was terrible. Reception was not a usual one. I haven’t seen a receptionist there, coffee shop’s assistants were substituting.

Enjoyed the room, clean and quiet. Ease of access to the main train station was a perk!

A very nice hotel at a top location- rigjt at the city center, a few minutes away from the Central railway station. The breakfast was exceptional, as well as the coffee. I would like to mention the brand new bathroom, which was perfectly clean. It was a little bit noisy, but that is to be expected due to the central location, so not an issue

Perfect location, clean, comfortable, stylish, good staff and stuff, tasty breakfast with great bananabroad. I like almost everything, besides one thing below There was a problem with the sink, it didn't work properly, but as my stay was for 1 night, it didn't annoy me.

Room was clean and nicely set up, bathroom big and a good shower. There is no one in the hotel to host or welcome you. Everything is done via app and if something does not work there is no chance to reach for help. It was very unsettling and uncomfortable.

We stayed for 3 nights, without wifi. The hairdryer didn't work, the shower had problems. They changed our room, but the wifi problem persisted. They never came to change the sheets or to clean. Not the best experience..
