Hampton Inn & Suites Downers Grove Chicago

Knowing that this was not an isolated issue, this is totally not acceptable for a reputable place like this. So, indifference from the staff and not fully functioning facilities during our stay. Hotel itself looks good and fancy for Hampton Inn.

When you walk into the building. The smell was awesome. I would use it at home. The suite was nice,clean. Everything wasnice

It was a lovely staycation...

I really loved the layout of the room. It was so spacious, clean, and nicely updated with lots of room to spread out. The hotel was busy but I never heard anyone on our floor so the rooms must be really well soundproofed. Juan at the bar was fantastic. My siblings and I spent a few hours there and he was so attentive and gracious. We didn’t have time to try the breakfast, but it looked delicious. The blueberry scones I quickly grabbed were amazing. The only downsides were that one of the elevators was out of service and the other one’s door was very finicky. It would close on us very quickly and not bump back open - I actually got stuck in it once. We also tried to hold it open for some other guests and an employee told us not to because that’s what broke the other elevator. It also felt extremely muggy in the entire hotel all weekend. The air was working fine, it was just very humid. The toilet was also very slow to flush. Overall, though, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The bedroom and living area felt better maintained, and the bed was fairly comfortable. Staff was friendly. Overall this suburban property just needs updating. We were there for a family wedding in the area and I wouldn't choose to stay here again. Breakfast needs some work and wasn't as good as other Hamptons.

The pool was no longer available but that’s very minor. Great breakfast buffet.

Hotel and staff were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was great. Pillows. The pillows were awful, way too flat.

The pool was being renovated.

Breakfast had limited options but tasted fine. Our room had ants and the staff were not at all concerned by it.

Very clean and comfortable Nothing

Hotels was very clean. Staff was wonderful, always helpful. Breakfast was great, a ton of choices. The only issue were the pillows, they are flat, barely a pillow.

Very nice property. Sitting areas in each room and separate bedroom is nice for partner who wants to watch tv while the other wants to sleep.

Rooms of suite were small.
