nothing I booked a short stay at Ibis specifically because of its location, which was the main reason for choosing this hotel. However, upon arrival, I discovered that my booking had been moved to Novotel without my prior consent or clear agreement. This was extremely disappointing and disruptive, as the location was the key factor behind my reservation. Unfortunately, the experience at Novotel did not improve the situation. The valet service was particularly disappointing. I found the staff interaction to be unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, and the way the matter was handled by the manager felt intimidating rather than helpful. In my view, there was a clear lack of customer-focused service and little effort to understand or accommodate the needs of a guest who had already been inconvenienced by an unexpected hotel change. Overall, this was a very poor experience for what was meant to be a simple, short stay. Being moved to a different hotel without proper consent undermined the purpose of my booking, and the service experience at the alternative hotel made the stay even more frustrating. I would be very hesitant to book again unless there are clear assurances that confirmed reservations, guest preferences, and basic customer service standards will be properly respected.
