The location, the hotel itself, the designs of everything, the view, the breakfast. It was really a pleasant experience. They did something nice for my husband’s birthday.

Exceptional service, beautiful facilities, spotless rooms, and incredibly attentive staff. The housekeeping, butler service, dining, and overall hospitality were outstanding. Nothing at all. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The hotel itself is amazing. However I got very disappointed from my experience at the lounge LITT located in the hotel. The staff there was extremely rude specifically bartender. Literally he pointed to the door when I wanted to keep my purse on the bar counter saying “if you don’t like the rule u can leave”. Apparently it is not allowed to keep bags on the bar which is non sense however I didn’t insist. I removed the bag immediately. There were hooks under however there was no available hook from my bag which I explained to the bartender. During the night the bartender was showing signs of irritation from me along with his senior. On top of that all the bartenders were having shots which was weird to do on the shift. I got very disappointed and the manager saw it however no apologies were given. Other than that the hotel is lovely.

However, we faced an unexpected experience at the reception desk. First, the delay during check-in was unbearable. Second, I had accidentally forgotten my Emirates ID at home due to changing bags, although I did have a soft copy of my ID on my phone, and my three daughters had their original IDs with them. Unfortunately, the receptionist kept repeating the same point as if he did not understand the situation, even after I clearly explained that I had simply forgotten the physical card. I have stayed at many luxury hotels in the UAE such as Qasr Al Sarab in Liwa, Al Maha Resort in Dubai, Bab Al Shams, and The Address, and in similar situations they always handled the matter with understanding and professionalism. As Emiratis, this is our country, and I found the way we were treated unacceptable. We were kept waiting for a very long time while the staff discussed whether they would allow us to enter the room or not. At one point, I was seriously considering leaving because I do not accept being treated in such a manner. Even if these are hotel policies, the employee should have emotional intelligence and the ability to understand different situations and treat guests appropriately and respectfully.

Everything - especially our bedroom with the most fantastic view of the burj al Arab. Also the staff were truly excellent - they looked after us impeccably and made my daughter’s birthday the best. There was nothing we did not like
