Good value for money. And a great host!

Location was key. The family hosting the hostel were so accommodating it was one of my best stays on my trip. I left a bag and they held it for me and helped me get back my items. My mistake but they assisted like champs! Thank you King Jeffrey (The Host)

The staff is electric and made the stay great I definitely recommend taking the leap of the brave as well or if you're braver than I do karaoke is always an option.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The owner is a family from Estonia and they are very friendly. The father was on Game of Thrones. Located very strategic inside the Old Town but it’s upstairs so be ready with the stairs. Better to enter from the Buza Gate. 10 mins by taxi from the bus terminal. The guests are very friendly as well. Too many stairs.

The location and amazing host, very friendly enjoyed his game of thrones stories.

Unbeatable location. All was good. Really would just say could have used an actual stove instead of hot plates.

No lockers

The location was very good. Not all the rooms but at least ours had AC. The staff was friendly :) I know everything is expensive in Dubrovnik but the price for a bed is ridiculous. Then you arrive, and you gotta make your bed yourself! The lockers were broken and missing the key. The door of the hostel could be open by pushing it so everyone could walk in. The kitchen was right next to the bed so you can imagine the smell and noise if you’re sleeping on that bed. Last but not least, the bathroom and kitchen weren’t clean. You could tell it wasn’t clean daily. For the money they make a day… I expect at least the hostel to be clean and to buy new lockers. You could see a few years ago the rating for this hotel was top, but not anymore. (Paid 50€ per bed per night)

There are some upgrades to be done but it is a family run business and I was there during peak summer so I’ll give them that. Overall it was an ok experience!

I loved the location and the welcome from King Joffrey and the receptionist, Alan. They were very kind and attentive. Very safe for a solo trip.

The host took us out for breakfast The walls and door by the washroom were falling apart. The shower was very small

The host was so welcoming and really responsive on WhatsApp. He genuinely cared that I had a nice stay. The hostel is really conveniently located right in the middle of the old town, a 1 min walk from the main strip. The host is also really passionate about game of thrones which was nice.

Great location in the heart of old town. Beds weren’t comfy and the kitchen a couple metres from my bed in an open space right next to my bed. So when people were cooking my clothes were getting covered in the smell.

Very close to old town. Ensuite toilet and shower are ok. Aircon: There is a portable AC machine but the exhaust pipe is broken so the hot air gets recycled back into the room. Slight water leaking due to condensation. Fan: There is a fan on the ceiling but be very careful as it's near the top of the bed. Locker: None, but there could be one available if you ask the staff. Noise level: The room is facing the popular stairs so it's very noisy from passerbys talking loudly at night. Closing the windows would help to reduce the noise but certain people prefer to keep the windows open to let the air enter the room. Bed: Somewhat uncomfortable It seems that they don't care about the facilities such as aircon.
