We chose Force on Fifth as it was across the street from our destination. Our room was fantastic. It was very quiet and comfortable. We were in and out, but I am impressed with the kitchenette and can easily see staying for days while exploring the area. Very pleasant stay. The walk to the lift bridge was a couple of blocks, excellent location. Ask about the history of the building, very interesting. I highly recommend!

All was great!

Great to have the kitchenette. Really enjoyed the layout of the room. Did not like that our shower was covered in pubic hair and the staff did not clean it after we told them about it. Had to clean to pubic hair myself after waiting 12 hours for them to come.

I love that they had aveda shampoo and a full kitchen as well as the shower was very nice!

We stayed one night on our road trip. We are a family of four, so our kids were excited to have their own bed (booking had one queen/ two pull out couches). The location was great and even the offsite parking was easy. When we arrived we noticed that the room wasn’t quite up to our cleaning standards. Then when we went to sit on the couch, it was covered in dog hair. So much so that when my daughter sat down, chunks floated into the air. We are not dog people but I wasn’t one to complain so I just picked up the chunks and threw them away. When it was time to turn down the couches, the couch with the dog hair was also covered in dog hair. Gross, guess our kids are sharing the other bed. When we went to turn down the other couch, the old bedding (stains and all) had not been removed and there was a used towel folded up inside. I called the front desk and a sweet, younger girl handed over some clean sheets. I was not comfortable, touching the dirty sheets and towel, so in order for her to come into our room, we all had to step out. Which is fine. She removed the soiled bedding/towel. She also checked out the other couch covered in hair. Her suggestion was to have kids sleep on the other bed for the night. No offer to move rooms. The next morning they apologized and asked if there’s anything they could do. Unfortunately, we had already used the room. A room move, would have been appreciated the night before. They did refund our $10 parking. Nice place, needs better cleaning crew.

Full kitchen was incredible. Room was clean and so much fun to include our dog

Clean room and lobby area. Engaging and friendly staff

We stayed in the corner suite with nice views and perfect space with 2 separate bedrooms and baths which worked well for our group. The water pressure on the 6th floor was a little weak. Housekeeping service needs improvement-they did not have enough clean towels for replacement after 1st night

It was a beautiful place to stay at!

Wonderful staff. Parking was across the street. Front desk gal carried our suitcases up to our room. Shower holder broke before I could use it. Front desk gal came up three times. Bless her. Night shift. She came to our room with us and had to have the keys remade. Then she came back as the heat wouldn't go on. She fixed it from the front desk. Then she came back and figured out the tv for us. She was great. When we left the next day, she had Shawn carry our suitcases to the car and also had Shawn come across the street as I had no clue how to get out with the bar down. I am too old for this. They are so customer helpful. Thank you.

The location is walkable to Canal Park. The studio was quite large, with a minimalist modern design, including a couch, chair and table with two chairs for eating. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom clean with plenty of towels. The only complaint was that the floor and tables could have cleaner as there were a few crumbs and dust visible.

Be warned, the weekend staff is lacking. They were supposed to give me a sheet explaining the parking situation but all they said was that there were two parking lots available. I even asked why I was getting texts from the municipal parking lot and they knew nothing. Anyhow, the hotel charges you $10.00 for parking which I found out a day later. It would have been a bargain as it was almost a 24 pass. Because I was not made aware, I paid $12.00 for 8 hours of parking. I called and explained the situation to the weekday clerk and she explained what was supposed to happen. I asked for a refund for the $10.00 since it did me no good but they never returned my call.

This hotel is nice and had a great view of downtown for the price. A slight concern I have is how well they clean the rooms as there were crumbs on the chair at the table, but wasn't a huge problem. When I first walked in, I was also hit with an unpleasant smell of what I deemed to be cigarettes. Either I got used to the scent or it'd go away, but time to time I'd smell it again. The one thing I wasn't fond of was the water pressure. Maybe it's because I was on floor 6, but it'd fluctuate between low and high. Overall, my stay was fine and would stay here again.

This place was the perfect landing pad for family vacation. I loved the full kitchen and seperate bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with basic pots/pans/utensils. The floor was pretty dirty, needed a sweeping and the rug needed vacuumed. we aske for a broom so we could take care of it ourselves, but the front desk only offered us one of those static roller sweepers which was not helpful. Other than that, it was fairly clean. Parking was not included and is located in the adjacent parking garage up a slight hill. Ice machine was helpful! We did not use the gym. We walked to and from the canal area several times for the restaurants and just learned to avoid the sketchy sections along the route. Overall would stayhere again!

This hotel has an excellent location to activities down by the lake walk. Interior is very clean and modern. The rooms are also nicely detailed to include a well equipped kitchen, refrigerator, stove, and microwave.
