If you want to be part of Duluth history, you should booked a room at the Salyard Mansion. This is our third reservation in this mansion and we don’t want to book anywhere else in Duluth when we stay for couple of days. You get a unique experience being in the historical part of Duluth and each room is amazing (back in time but very cozy and comfortable).

Beautiful setting. Everything was very well done and taken care of.

Deck needed sweeping on arrival and needed a pressure wash. No knife or cutting board in kitchen. Toilet flapper leaked into bowl so about every half hour the water ran for 5 seconds. WiFi was unusable. Two text messages management did not resolve.

Parking for guest behind Mansion. Quiet and safe location. Coffee, tea, muffins, fruit in am. Room had plenty of towels, toilet paper, nice ftidge, mictowave, coffee in guest room. I loved this place and will stay in the future.

Wonderful! The room was clean and tidy. Off street parking. We even used the free EV charger. We had to checkout at 5:45 am so I have no review on breakfast, but they did have a snack bar where you could purchase items by scanning a barcode. Such an interesting place. The old restored furniture added a perfect touch to the atmosphere. Creaky floors, but that part of the experience with being in an old Mansion. Very large yard with a gazebo and additional seating areas. The end of our stay was pretty cool. There was a deer(buck) in the backyard, about 20 ft from us when we got in our car to leave. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful historic house with lovely grounds. There were many places inside and out to sit and read or visit. The sauna was not working which was a bummer.

Never met any of the staff but their electronic communications were very timely with detailed information. Just what we needed!

Second night of my stay I had to park on the street, in which the trees deposited their debris on my car.

The room was excellent. The location could not have been better, and it was a beautiful space. The only real complaint was the Internet and TV. The Internet service was terrible!! When it worked it was really slow. I would have called to see if anyone could address the problem, but the staff were not available after 8PM. Since all of the TV was streaming, it meant that when the Internet went down, which happened several times, we had no TV service. To boot, their selection of apps on the Samsung TV was incomplete. I have any number of streaming services, but I could not login to several of my accounts because they did not have the app installed, and the TV required a password to download the app. These are easy fixes. I hope they will address them because everything else about this.place was basically perfect!!

Staff is responsive but available only via remote. Wi-Fi did not work upon arrival and stopped working again the next morning. I was in the carriage house and the adjoining room door noise was disturbing. Early checkout time is inconvenient.

The Stalyard Mansion was beautiful! Very quiet and relaxing in a lovely Duluth neighborhood.

the mansion was beautiful and very secure. never done a hostess free reservation before. received all the correct text with passcodes but took me awhile to understand how to locate my room. Other guest had the same problem.

Tge British pub close by provided the perfect mid-week Bluegrass jam along with excellent meal. This lovely mansion is highly recommended by us!

Wonderful place! Loved my room! So quaint and a cute balcony. Very comfortable bed where I slept like a baby. Comfortable stuffed chairs, cute small tables for eating, drinking and playing cards. Each room has their own bathroom! Some with jacuzzis, clawed bathtubs, showers etc. this is definitely an advantage to have your own bathroom. I will go again and stay longer than 3 days!coffee and pastries are a delight in the AM. I also went on a helicopter ride! What an amazing experience!
