The property was very clean, and quiet. It was within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Dumfries as well as a pub close by that had very good food and drinks. Nothing

Another lovely stay. Very easy to check in and rooms are immaculate. Nice touches in the room with homemade tablet etc. looking forward to my next stay.

Exceptional quality room in a lovely Victorian building . Quiet , yet centrally located and super support from the host. Slight issues with self check in , immediately rectified by the host

Very handy for the train station, and only ten minutes walk into town.
-
The walls are a bit thin. Could hear our family walking in a room next door.

Breakfast was tasty, and included GF bread. The room was warm and nicely furnished, and had double glazing. Parking was convenient, outside the premises. The bedroom space was just a little tight as the bed was large. Would have been better without a chair in it. But we were fine, given it was just for one night.

Communication to check in was good and was greeted on arrival when I had a few teething issues getting in. Room was lovely and the shower was particularly good. Would have no hesitation in staying again as it was exactly what I needed.
-
The bed was worn out and has no support. I woke up with a sore back.

We stayed there at the beginning and end of our stay in Scotland and The Orkneys. Excellent breakfast which we could order the previous evening. Everything was comfortable, clean and tidy . Would certainly return there again. No complaints at all!

We really appreciated that the Huntingdon is owned & operated by a family who make their guests feel welcome.
-
Limited space to have luggage in the twin room, no bathroom counter space, but all manageable.
-
Clean and freshly decorated room walls paper thin....you can hear your neighbours very easily, even their bowel movts in the middle of the night. nowhere in the bathroom to put anything, main door easy to leave unlocked making the building unsecured Overall decor looks fresh but its been done to look good in photos: its less good in practice
