Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Durango Downtown by IHG

Checked in the wrong room (standard vs suite). Had to stand in line once again to be informed that it would take some time to figure out what happened. I proceeded to the "Gray Copper" grill that's onsite and serves food til 10PM, I ordered food at 9:50PM and mins later was told that the cook had left and would have to cancelI the food. Was informed I could get (frozen food from front lobby).... Fast forward another hour (keep in mind I did not set up in the room in case I had to switch), I was told to stay in the room with no upcharge. . Not the best experience for a Holiday Inn. I always highly recommend the properties for Holiday Inn's, however, not this location.

Convenient location.

Has everything you expect. Close to downtown, you can walk there easily. Clean, quite, friendly.

The sofa bed sheet was stained and our toilet broke in the middle of the night. The gym was nice. The air conditioner only had 2 settings freezing and warm and it was super loud

Great place to stay with your dog. Excellent area to walk dogs!

Loved this hotel. Great location & property. Hotel restaurant came in handy when we were too tired to go out for dinner.

We have stayed at this place a number of times in the past and it’s always been good. This time we got locked out of our room by the bathroom door swinging open and interfering with the opening of the room door. This issue is obviously an ongoing problem as was evident by the damage to the back of the entry door. When we went to the check in desk to report the issue we were told to just push on the door harder! We finally were able to get in by reaching in the partially opened entry door and pushing the bathroom door back several times until the bathroom door moved out of the way. No one seemed to care about the problem.

There were 2 dogs left unattended in the next room that barked nonstop for 2 hours.

Breakfast was disappointing. We did not have a chair in our room. My husband asked for one and they brought a chair from a conference room that was broken. Hotel was clean but overall it was a little disappointing.

We had trouble with our entry keys cards all 3 days of our stay. On the very end of 4th flr. And had to go down multiple times each day and get new cards. The fact that we spent almost $800. To stay and were charged to park in the parking lot is pretty greedy of hotel chain.

Great property! Quiet, easy parking access, friendly staff, spacious room, and overall great property. Breakfast buffet available was good as well.

Beautiful room. The property is very nice. I had to wait quite a bit of time at check-in even though there was a staff member available but working on her computer. The second staff member eventually helped me. The breakfast was disorganized, no serving utensils, etc. but the staff was very nice. Overall, enjoyed the stay.

Everything, we had an adjoining room to my sisters room

The staff was helpful and the room was clean.
