Located in the peaceful center of Durbuy overlooking the medieval castle, this hotel offers rooms with modern-style décor. The entire main building of Hôtel Le Sanglier des Ardennes, including the 2 restaurants, wellness center, bar and rooms has been renovated in April 2018. Some of the rooms at Sanglier des Ardennes boast views over the Ourthe River. One of the hotel's restaurants, La Bru'sserie, offers a selection of tapas and sharing food from around the world and a local gin from the Ardennes. Guests can relax in the wellness center for an extra charge. It features a sauna, spa bath and hammam. A range of beauty treatments are also offered including manicures and exfoliating treatments. The center Marche-en-Famenne is just over 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Liege, featuring sights including the Curtius Museum, is 50 minutes away by car. Golf Blue Green de Durbuy is a 10-minute drive away.

Beautiful location and excellent wine collection. Tiny room for the price we paid, bathroom with no douche, spiderwebs... not the 1st class experience that goes with the 1st class price.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very friendly, the service was excellent, it was lovely to sit on the terrace at breakfast, and the location is wonderful. The restaurants, cafes and shops are just outside the door of the hotel, yet our room was very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely return.

We don’t know if is like a rule in Durbuy or in Belgium , but Monday a lot of Restaurants were closed, included the Restaurants of the Hotel , which it was a pity.

The room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The location of the hotel is very picturesque in the village/city with its little streets and 300million years old rock face! Pity that the castle is closed to tourists, and has been for years! The room lighting system was a little awkward - hunt the required light switch!

Very centrally located, beautiful room with a super view of the river, very very peaceful and clean The bed wasn’t as fabulous as the rest of the room. It was fine but not great. Needed a firmer mattress.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is a bit pricey but very good. The room was quite dark even with all the lights on. For my wife to put on her make up was a bit challenging.

The room was nice the price is really hight compared to what you get. The staff is not really friendly and helpfull. Amenities in the room are not well maintained such as coffee machine ( did not work) , towels were not adequately replaced, noise from the wellness ( please do not stay in room 110 )

Location is wonderful, staff very nice and friendly Bed mattress is terrible (extremely soft). Impossible to sleep.
