Hotel Wellness Eau de Roche

Location perfect, in the middle of old city. Big bed. Beautiful view for old town and castle. The room was decent, but it had almost no lighting—only the reading lamps next to the bed. One of the lamps didn’t even have a bulb. The water in the shower one day it was lukewarm, the next day it was cold. The swimming pool facilities are old, and overall the hotel feels outdated, except for the lobby and dining. Breakfast offered a poor selection, and the staff didn’t replenish items—for example, when the croissants ran out, they were not refilled, even though there was still an hour left before breakfast ended.

They have a super good view overlooking the Castle. Appreciate the water, the lemon sparkling water, and the tiny chocolates. The separated bathroom and toilet was clean and looked new. Temp parking for baggage drop-off is available. It’s on the side of the road next to the hotel up the road on the right. We did not see signs though. Anyway, we kept the car parked at Topiary car park. €9 per entry. Communication was difficult as the reception did not speak English and alleen een beetje Nederlands! We do not speak French unfortunately!

Its a nice town to visit, hotel isn't uptown standard The bathtub in the room is just strange and you can't shower in it either after. Because of the energy prices they closed pool and sauna but had me pay for!!! They said oh we will open, simply doesn't work that way.

nothing It was not pleasant to have people from outside. what not appropriated to the luxurious place we were, with children running everywhere and people not respecting the place

the rooms no check in or check out! didn’t see any staff member while I stayed due to being out early and back late. No iron in the room. Lobby was pitch black.

location is the biggest advantage of the hotel. The room was big and renovated. it doesn’t seem like a 4 stars hotel at all. there is a smell of mold in the whole spa with visible mold on the ceiling. the stuff doesn’t speak English. Poor choice for breakfast. No bar/restaurant opened after breakfast. only water in mini bar- no other drinks available on the evening/night.

The sauna and wellness were closed and we could not use it and the reception went closed earlier. The breakfast was extremely poor and worse The breakfast was very poor

Modern building in traditional stone, convenient central location but quiet and very pleasant Charming landlady at the reception and around the bar. Spa Wellness is very nice wirh a selection of saunas, steam room and pool with good rest rooms, including outdoors It is a minor point but based on the very good overall standard of the hotel, I would have expected coffee cups in the room instead of the cardboard cups Same for the fridge, one would have expected to find a couple of glasses in the room.

The pool and the sauna We went there to have a relax weekend but we found a party with over 100 persons celebrating laud until 3am. Our room was a club, we could hear the music clear and super laud. The recepcionist were not cooperative and pretended to not speak English, only French. Avoid.
