Hotel Bleart

The location was good right on the beach front boardwalk. Something for everyone. Lots of restaurants nearby. Beautiful sunsets. Clean water with a nice sandy bottom for swimming in the ocean. The restaurant and cleaning staff were friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. Checked in and was given my room with a double bed as expected, but when I got to the room, the door would not latch shut. You could just push it open without even using the knob or the lock. I went down to the front desk and it took over an hour to arrange for a new room. They had no maintenance people working at the time to fix it. For the longest time I was told there were no other rooms, then I was offered a single room. As I persisted, eventually, they put me into a room with a double bed and a single bed in a second building on the property. The air-conditioning was great in the first room, but when I got transferred to the second room, the air-conditioning did not work very well at all. Quite hot at night for sleeping. In both buildings, it was very warm in the hallways in elevators. Uncomfortably so. The shower drain was plugged, causing water and soap scum to build up so that you have to stand in it. If you weren’t quick enough, it would overflow the small lip of the shower onto the rest of the bathroom floor. The swimming pool seating area is nice, but the water looked quite dirty. Very cloudy water that I assume is mostly from peoples sunscreen. It was bad enough that I chose not to swim in it. One single coffee machine in the banquet room where breakfast is served. It was quite slow, taking almost a minute per coffee, causing quite a “Soviet-era” style lineup, to the point where I waited for a while and then decided not to have coffee with my breakfast. I went out onto the boardwalk after and had a delicious coffee at a different hotel. I dealt with two different people at the reception desk. One for quite a long time while we sorted out the rooms. They were polite, but not once cracked a smile until the morning that I left. I think I saw the receptionist give the slightest hint of a smile. I would not even go as far as to say they were pleasant. The parking situation is not very good.

Customer service especially from the restaurant was terrible

Gorgeous! So friendly! Just wishing we had more room keys so the power wouldn’t turn off on my kids still in the room while I went for coffee early in the morning. Otherwise no complaints!

Location was good. The reception was rude and saying no to my standard requests: to give second card, to provide invoice. They ignored me on booking.com, WhatsApp. Their phone was not connected to cable, so you can never call reception. As result no wifi for me. The consierge guys didn't help with luggage, so I was carrying everything myself. There are no pathway for luggage or invalids, only stairs. The room smelled bad with chlorine. Floor and furniture really old. Towels were dirty. Outside it was always loud music. Doors to bathroom would not close. Breakfast was horrible and cheap. They would not allow you to sit outside although they have tables outside nearby. I booked two days and after one day I run away from there. Of course administration refused to return money.

The location of the property is quite good. The lady at reception welcomed us very well and tried her best to assist but she couldn’t do much. I made a reservation via Booking.com but for some reason the credit card left as guarantee was not working. At this point I wrote to the hotel to ask if everything is ok with the reservation. The hotel confirmed me that they will keep the reservation and that they were expecting for us. When we arrived for the check in , surprisingly the receptionist tells us that there is no reservation kept due to the credit card not working and no guarantee taken while it was confirmed that despite this fact the reservation was still available. Furthermore the hotel was fully booked. This was such a disappointment for us considering the fact that we were invited to a wedding and we were rushing to get ready. The receptionist tried her best by apologizing several times and tried to organize an out of service room. Since we had no time and other choice we accepted but the room had technical issues therefore we decided to leave after a while. Even though we didn’t receive an invoice, we still paid 50% of the price for using an out of service room. I still would give credit to the receptionist lady for trying her best to assist us but being a hotelier myself I must say that this is a total unprofessional service. I had the opportunity to return back home but imagine it a guest arrived from another country and faced a such situation. As a professional to a professional, I would highly recommend to treat more seriously Booking.com reservations because the international image of a disappointed guest is clearly very important for the reputation of the hotel . I hope this will serve for good will to improve the service for the future.

The parking lot Very poor accommodation condition. For €180 the double room for one night at least the water should not be dripping and accumulate in the shower. The breakfast was poor, and the hotel is under-managed and worn-out....

Out of all hotels that we have seen in Albania, this one has the best facilities- the beach, the pool, a great restaurant, a really nice deck in the sea for bar/ concerts, live music and dancing, fantastic stuff!! But… But the rooms are in a really poor condition( We stayed in one of the old rooms, with really old furniture and dirt and stains and all of that(( I felt really sorry that such a great place with such a great view cannot upgrade its rooms. It could have been such a great place. Sad :(

Great staff, all very helpful especially Elion the receptionist and waiters! We enjoyed our stay at this hotel!
