The closeness to Devonshire park and the beach front, rooms had lovely high ceilings and generous size! The outside looked like it could do with a tidy up Would of liked hooks in the bathroom to hang towels etc and maybe a fan as you couldnt open the window

This is our 2nd visit here . The Da Vinci has everything you need, close to all amenities, beach, town, buses. The staff are amazing, breakfast is great, the beds are super comfy, spotless clean and easy check in and out. We love it here and would highly recommend it.

Excellent value for money. breakfast excellent! Clean and perfect location. Bit more comfortable beds and pillows would be nice but not a deal breaker

Location is great! East to go to beach or take coasters to the seven sisters or Brighton. 13-15 min to railway station.Room is quite large. Breakfast is delicious. Staff is nice. Price is reasonable.

Great location, very clean, the chef was super friendly, so nice, and the breakfast was fantastic! The manager was helpful. Good value for money and easy parking. Don’t let my negative bits put you off… I would definitely go back! The pillows were like stacked cardboard.. so flat and hard! Neither of us in our different rooms could get comfortable because of the awful pillows! On booking.com I was given the choice of a twin or double.. I chose twin configuration in one room, but was told that this hadn’t been specified in our booking… the manager ( I believe he was the manager) told me he believed me, that I had stated it in my booking, but as no housekeeping staff were available we couldn’t have a twin bed ( for my husband and teenage son). The manager offered a compromise of making up the sofa bed in the room. So that was kind of him….. my son said it was really uncomfortable though. Shame.

Very good value. Friendly people. Very close to seafront and town. Close to restaurants and cafes. Would recommend Favoloso!

Breakfast was very good value. Wash basin and shower flow were very poor, barely a trickle at times. I had real difficulty in pushing in and pulling out my phone charger of the 3-pin wall sockets. Floor was very creaky.

Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Excellent location. The cleanable stuff seemed clean.

Staff were accommodating and kind. Location is ideal and very accesible to the beach and shops. We requested for one of the rooms to be upgraded to family, it was very spacious and clean. Overall, I would recommend for overnight stay.

I left £1200 in my wallet in the hotel room and my son left £90 in his and they stole it all!! The manager did not even care wasn't interested

Property is tired and can do with updating. Room was large and clean. Hugh bed, but poor quality pillows which was a shame. Bathroom was not very clean. Toilet dirty round the rim. No real bar or Reception. Excellent breakfast - £6.95 for a full English. Excellent value. They could charge more especially if they added a better quality sausage. Just looked a bit tired and bathroom not very clean.

Excellent location for me, quiet and close to Theatres and Art Gallery. Friendly staff. Freshly cooked breakfast. Comfortable room. Nothing to dislike.

The Da Vinci is in desperate need of a deep clean. Everywhere you look is dust and dirt that has not been dealt with in a long time. The bedroom was cold and uninviting, the heater did not work, paint was peeling off the wall and the window glass cracked. The ensuite bathroom was dreadful, the shower cubicle needed to be gutted and the mould growing along the window frame had just been left.

Bed very comfy Towels are tiny :).

It's a great place to stay. Have stayed a few times now, and both times were great.
