There was cockroaches

There was a fridge and microwave, the bed was comfy. The floor was filthy! Me and my husband didn’t take our shoes off the whole weekend unless sitting on the bed. The shower room is like a tiny wet room with a toilet practically in the middle - too small for proper drainage so the floor in the shower room was soaked the whole of the stay even though the shower was used once. The temperature of the water in the shower room was like warm at best. The tv didn’t have an aerial for live tv channels - it had Netflix, ITVX, bbc iPlayer etc but we were not able to watch the live England football game in our room during our stay.

The bathroom the taps are soiled.and the fridge.

I did not like the slope but everything else was ok the laundry needs collecting though and air fresher needs to be sprayed the laundry is stinking

the location few minutes from the beach The TV was not working, the kettle was dusty, i had 2 big bath towels i couldnt use them the water was cold, i slept on a double bed that was uncomfortable, nobbly, lots of linen being folded at the reception, lots of Laundry bags piled in a room next to the reception, there were tradesmen doing renovation on checking out.

It a very nice place nice people I will go back there one day again I enjoy myself It was close to the beach and shops

Fab location Room was old and smelly

Me and my partner booked this room last minute as we were on a day out and due to my disability I desperately needed somewhere to rest as wasn’t feeling great. We booked for the night but thankfully after a couple of hours I was feeling nice and refreshed and meant we could continue exploring the local area. I wasn’t expecting much as the price was low but honestly was so pleasantly surprised!! The bed was very very comfortable and the room had everything we needed and was very clean. The hotel itself was pleasant and has a nice lobby area and the gentleman on reception was very kind to us! It’s also in the perfect location just a stones throw away from the beach, such good value for money. We will definitely return if and when we come back this way. Thank you!

The cleaning is not good enough, and the hot water takes along time to work.

Great as a base to visit Eastbourne, definitely value for money. Biggest pro was the lovely friendly staff.
