Nothing at all. This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Looks like it was used by the Government for reasons. In the heat I was genuinely concerned about a fire risk and even planned my exit if needed. We were there only for the Air show. Even that was a let down due to no facilities for hydration and over priced absolute rubbish food. Goodbye Eastbourne.

Not alot to like Lift not working, room not as advertised, old dated room, broken wardrobe door, veey old broken bed. Heavy body odour from Reception staff.

The property is in very good location as it s few yards to the beach , comparing to price it’s good place just to sleep, that’s it The room was too hot , windows close no way to open it ,no fridge as I believe is necessary

The room was on the groiund floor so no lift to worry about staff were so helpful and friendly could not fault them Some of the seats were reserved for the Air show so went to Hotel next door for a seat

To be honest, I have to admit that the breakfast was a complete disaster—very meager and prepared using the cheapest ingredients.There was absolutely no choice; one might say it wasn't a typical full English breakfast, but rather a "half-English" one.I paid nearly £100 for that breakfast, but we didn't even eat it the next day—I preferred having a meal out with my wife; I don't even want to know what their lunches or dinners are like. The location is great, and the hotel bartender is very friendly—warm regards to him... It is clearly evident that the hotel is neglected and dirty; it lacks air conditioning, and the toilet paper supply wasn't replenished—it ran out completely on the second day. Of course, photos always portray reality somewhat differently; I also made the mistake of booking so late, which left me with limited choices. Furthermore, prices were higher due to the anniversary of the pilot episode's broadcast—as it happened, my birthday and wedding anniversary fell during that same period.There are also quite a few things requiring repair, which is not feasible in practice.

The location was excellent, the staff were super friendly and helpful I’m sure it was lovely in its heyday but the hotel could really do with some investment to smarten it up.

Close to sea front not far to walk from the pier. The room was heavily outdated and clearly not been updated in a long time. The rooms are poorly maintained with carpet smelling like cigarettes, massive amounts of dust and dingy bathroom.

The room had the basic essentials The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom door was a sliding door which flapped open from the bottom. Plug sockets were hanging off the wall Cracks down the wall Slanted dressing table No staff at the reception in the morning to report this too

It’s close location to the beach Arrived to broken windows, a semi clean room, a pedestal fan placed to cool down the lift engine.
