We’re not a chain, and we’re proud of it. Our 20-room Victorian property blends comfort, creativity, and community. Expect original murals and local art throughout, a colorful lounge and breakfast room, and a kaleidoscope of thoughtful details. Breakfast was excellent quality, in a good setting, room was spacious and the location is excellent, just a short stroll to the seafront, and cafes and shops, yet still in a quiet location. Only one very minor quibble, would have liked a tumbler in the bathroom to rinse teeth after brushing and store toothbrush.

The breakfast was really nice. The choice of different types of filter coffee and cafetiere was a real bonus. Small poems everywhere and simply unique decor made the place really stand out. The lounge and bar area are great with an honesty bar. But CK the dog, oh so lovely! The free WiFi was really fast. I must mention the staff, all of them were really helpful and friendly, starting off as soon as you arrived, with a nice tour of the facilities. There is also a lift to get to the floors above ground floor. The shower was hot, but not the most powerful. I guess to save on water, but it did take a while for my wife to rinse her hair, so I am not sure it saved anything?!

Stunning property with lots for our children to do there with a play area. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Room was spacious Shower could do with an upgrade Woken by the dog barking outside our door at 4.15am!

The staff were so helpful at check in finding me a suitable room (thanks so much Diaine!!!), great location walking distance from the station and attractions. I liked the slightly alternative vibe of the B&B, eco & health concious and found some interesting books to browse. The breakfast was excellent & I left my luggage for the day.

Everything! The whole place is a work of art. Very friendly welcome with a tour of facilities. Free coffee, tea and water in the lounge as well as the bedroom. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The room itself was a work of art. No A/C but not a problem as the windows open wide and a fan is provided. Maybe the shower could be a little better with the temperature adjustment and actual head but it works. Not the largest of beds but so comfortable. No night time noise either. The breakfast is amazing. Quality ingredients and plenty of them. Your cooked items are individually cooked to order and very good they tasted too. Proper coffee is a bonus too. As many fresh cafetiere as you want if that's your thing. Overall, one of the best stays we've had in years. Beware the car park. It's entrance is very narrow and low. Take your time and you'll be fine. I think the sign said 1.9 m high.

It's a lovely B&B with wonderful staff. I wished I could of stayed longer because I couldn't stop looking at the amazing art work. Will definitely look forward to staying here again. The only complaint was the shower. I had difficulty adjusting the temperature.
