The loft was an absolute gem, and the location was excellent. The design of the loft was spacious and elegant. We found it tricky to enter, but the proprietor helped us.

We loved everything about this, it was perfect. We will come back. Comfortable, tastefull, well equipped, quiet, fantastic beds, perfect showers, also for disabled. No stool in the shower, but we brought one, so no problem for us.

The location was excellent and quiet, except for the seagulls (mostly amusing) and the hotel room was unique and the beds were very comfortable. To begin with, we had trouble finding the hotel. Google Maps got confused. It would be very helpful if the hotel would include specific details in both German and English. Just stating clearly to drive down Gartenstraße. It’s easy once you figure that out, but we wasted time while Google had us driving around the REWE. Also, we were late because of bad traffic issues and, while we called, when we got there, we had trouble figuring out where the parking was (again Google), but a map with clear instructions would help! We were so tired and exhausted and feeling very angry that we couldn’t find things easily. Also, we called the after hours phone and no one answered. In fairness, the woman I spoke with first (in my broken German) did ride over to help and, in the morning a receptionist who was there was very nice and cleared things up. I suggested to him that instructions on how to use the microwave (very different from what we’re used to) and also clearly stating that the coffee/tea was free and only cost for the second one would’ve been nice. This is a cute place in a great location, but clear directions and the ability to reach management more easily would make for a much more positive experience.
