Sanse Boutique Hotel

Location I liked the room, but unfortunately there were bed bugs and other small insects all over the walls and bed. Everyone in my family was badly bitten, with bites all over our bodies. Before staying at this hotel, we went island hopping and spent each night in simple huts on remote islands. Even though they were in the middle of nowhere, those accommodations were much cleaner, and we weren’t bitten by any bugs at all. This was very disappointing and made our stay uncomfortable.

The staff are wonderful. The location can’t be beat. I’d like a place to sit outside. Maybe a table and chairs outside the room rather than dragging one from the room every day for breakfast.

There is a club a few doors down that played music pretty loud late into the night. Hotel did provide ear plugs (which helped a little).

The staff was the best thing here. They’re all very friendly and accommodating as much as they could. The pictures weren’t what was advertised. It was advertised as hypoallergenic when it was not very clean, funny smell. Also, the doors and the windows aren’t safe, they don’t close or open properly.. It was advertised as “sound proof” the walls shake from the pounding bass of the neighbouring clubs, you can hear people yelling until 6am on microphones. It’s so loud. You can’t sleep even with ear plugs.

Location !!! 1 minute from beach. Nice staff. Breakfast was great and on time. Strong AC. Noisy (central el nido downtown), HUGE cockroach in bathroom, toilet stopped working but was repaired quickly, internet was terrible.

The location was easy enough to find. The local drivers know where it is. I arrived a little past midnight, but check-in is available 24 hours, so that was great. The room was very big and spacious, so was the bed, and there were more than enough pillows. There's a small coffee table in the room, a mini ref, as well as a high table with chairs. The "outdoor" shower and tub are amazing. Breakfast was generous, and you can have it to go if you have early activities booked outside and can't eat breakfast in the hotel. There were mosquitoes on my first night, so the next day I asked them to spray the room. There were no mosquitoes after that, but I did find a dead cockroach, which the staff might not have seen and was, therefore, not removed. The ventilation in the toilet could be improved - with the rain and the hot water from the shower, there was condensation, so there was a bit of musty smell. They can add more storage and drying rack in the room. Wifi was slow, and doesn't work very well in the room.

Loved that the location is in the center of El Nido town. Just a few steps away from the port where the tours are arranged, so it was an advantage since we have seniors with us. It's also near the municipal hall. The rooms were great. very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was also good. I would highly recommend this place and would even opt to stay here if I get the chance to go back to El Nido. The breakfast was yummy but would be better if served hot. We didn't enjoy the coffee that came with the breakfast because of a certain smell on the mugs that they use for breakfast. But other than that everything was great.

Breakfast delivered to your room was great! It was definitely a little loud at night being right next to a Karaoke bar. More of a rustic stay.

The best thing about this place is definitely the location – right in the center, with easy access to the beach, bars, restaurants, and everything you need. The staff was helpful. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work well, so the room felt really warm. There were no windows, which made it feel a bit stuffy. The bathroom’s sliding door didn’t work properly. There was no common area to eat breakfast or relax, which would have made the stay more comfortable. Also a lot of noise from clubs/bars

The hotel was as described. It was right in town, clean, breakfast served every morning at arranged time. The room was modern and beds were very comfortable. Everything was great. Maybe a few wall hooks for towel drying in the room.

Breakfast brought to the room; very quiet even though you are steps from the action; clean and very friendly staff. The room was a little small, but everything else makes up for that!

The only benefit was to stay within the town and close to the restaurants, tour pickup points etc. The room was very different from what is in the photos. It was a very poor and dated room with a broken pole in the stairs making the midnight bathroom visit a nightmare. It's a shame how much they charged for this room. The aircon was not cold enough, the hot water was on and off during the shower and breakfast delivery was always late. Insufficient lighting and the congested area were suffocating.

Breakfast was good , Location is Good It is difficult to go to the toilet in the night. The sliding door didn’t work well and the shower gets the floor wet so when you go to the toilet in the middle of the night, your feet get wet. The set up of the bathroom is wrong .
