El Nido Coco Resort

El Nido Coco resort is an excellent place to stay. Four adults and two tweens traveling together, we stayed three nights. The street along Corong Corong beach is very busy, and not so peaceful, but the drop down to the resort’s entrance cuts most of the noise, and the grounds of the resort itself are very pleasant. You enter near a restaurant and pool area with stalls for massages nearby. The resort itself seems to be a large L shaped piece of land, we were in the short leg of the L up near the restaurant. At first I was a little disappointed, not to be closer to the beach, which is out near the tip of the long leg of the L. However, this part of the resort is more quiet and open, the lodgings closer to the beach don’t really have much of a “front yard” but then again they are close to the beach! We found our room/cabin?/bohai? To be very spacious and exactly what we were hoping for. A private space, well isolated from our neighbors, very pleasant. They put us next-door to the rest of our group, so that part was perfect. Facilities: lots of concrete and tile, pleasant artwork, everything was clean and worked correctly. AC was cold, shower has hot water. There was a little soaking tub on our front porch, which was awesome! Staff: the booking staff were great, we got massages and had laundry done, they also booked several vehicles for us. Everything was well done and very pleasant, easy to interact with. A couple of the folks in our group are fluent into Tagalog, I did most of the booking in English. Staff was fully comfortable either way. Serving staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. They helped our kids make good choices that they ended up enjoying. Restaurant: food was excellent! Breakfast had a light buffet, and we had paid for included breakfast, so we were also able to order larger meals, the menu was a little bit limited, but each of the options was delicious and they had something for everyone. I’m sure if we’d have stayed longer the menu at the restaurant might have gotten repetitive, but then again you’re staying right in the middle of a huge beach walk with tons and tons of restaurants, so that might be kind of the point!

I love everything- the place is clean and very inviting, people are very courteous, and we get a free breakfast with different varieties. Some flooding on my way to unit 16

The big room with a outdoor front patio and close to the beach. Excellent pool. Everything was great.

The resort is clean, the facilities are great, and the staff are very accommodating. Even their third-party service providers, such as the airport transfer and inland tour operators, provide excellent service. I hope the management can regularly remove the dried leaves and other waste from the beach in front of the resort.

Staff were very helpful. The private pool isnt doesnt even look like a pool, its more like a pond. No vent in the bathroom, too many mosquitoes. Internet is bad. Water is very low pressure. Power keeps going on and off.

Need to improve the electric sockets quality and safety

i like the bungalow we stay but it is outdated, the garden is peaceful and staff is helpful they don’t have duvet and the restroom is bit outdated

Welcoming staff and nicely designed rooms in pleasant garden and near the beach. The beachfront bar was lovely for drinks and snacks. Our accommodation comprised 2 bedrooms and a semi open living area with a settee , dining table , plunge pool, fridge and kitchen sink, toilet and showeroom. P Nothing.

We had a great stay at this resort and absolutely loved the location. It’s close to plenty of restaurants, and tricycles were always easy to find nearby. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and housekeeping did a great job keeping our room clean whenever we needed it. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast quickly became a highlight of our mornings. We especially enjoyed happy hour and the fresh fruit shakes. The beachfront bar had an amazing view and a really great vibe. Big shout-out to the bar staff and restaurant team for their excellent service! Nothing

Location & clean. Staff were so nice and taking care of stuff.

The cottage was too expensive. Not worth it

Wifi is not good.

The staff were very nice and courteous, very helpful and most especially friendly. The telephone and television did not work. Too many mosquitoes inside the room.

The bathroom that we were assigned initially was not functioning so we had to transfer to a different one, with this issue the staff were quick to make the easy decision. I would like to mention as well that with the heavy rains that we encountered while in there, the staff should not put guests near the shore area so that they don't have to transfer my family members from room 17 to a room near the pool. This is merely a suggestion.
