El Nido Moringa Resort

Everything especially all of the staff are friendly and accommodating. None in general. But an improvement for the massage bed is highly recommended.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—they were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Whether it was organizing tours or offering helpful recommendations, their support made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautiful, and our room was comfortable and well-maintained, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic massage experience, which was both rejuvenating and professionally done. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return again.

Rooms are clean everyday. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. Delicious home made breakfast! One mirror outside the bathroom would be nice.

Once we arrived at the Hotel, we were amazed by the swimming pool and garden which were very relaxing, scenic and comfortable, and decided to stay inside the Hotel for the whole stay (1 night) instead of going out for activities. However, there is a beautiful beach close by which we visited shortly. The restaurant in the garden of the Hotel was amazing and delicious where we had dinner, breakfast and Juices. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom is huge. The great welcome and assistance of the staff made the stay even nicer.

The pool needed maintenance while I was there, however a neighbouring hotel’s pool was made available. Lacking hot water.

Moringa was the nicest reasonably priced option to stay for the New Years Eve time period. And we loved it! It was an oasis of calm and serenity in the frenetic of El Nido. El Nido, during Christmas/New Years week is insane. It is so incredibly busy and hectic. But returning back to Moringa was always a blessing. The scenery and views are much better than in the pictures and the rooms are so nice and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and willing to go the extra step. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms giant! One issue we had was our private excursion was cancelled and we were placed in a group tour instead. This had been organized by the hotel. I was upset because I didn't find out until the night before. However, the hotel made it up to us by comping our shared tour completely. That was a wonderful gesture. I have to say that the tour itself was not the best run - but I don't think that has anything to do with Moringa. It almost seemed like the lottery - you just get on the tour boat you get on and Moringa has no actual say in it. The Tour system in El Nido was chaotic and you just need to go with the flow. We also got massages at the hotel, which were cheap and pretty good. The breakfast was fantastic. And the dinner that we had was good, but nothing amazing. It was as good as anything else we tried though. The location is close to El Nido town, right off Corong Corong Beach. The Tricycle into town is 100 php and takes about 5-10 mins. We also arranged for transportation from the airport and booked a driver for the day. Booking the driver for the day cost 4500 PHP and in theory he would take us wherever we wanted to go for the duration of the day. The shared tour that we were booked on through the hotel - was so disorganized. We were shuffled around El Nido on various tricycles, following random people, and eventually were taken to a man to kayak us to our boat. We had no idea what was happening, and there was zero communication. In the end, we had fun. But the food on the tour was awful. And the boat broke down for a while. The driver we booked through the hotel did not want to be driving us around. It was NYE, so I understand, but still - it just didn't feel nice to be rushed. The location is on a pretty busy street, so as soon as you leave the compound, it is lined with tricycles and mopeds passing by. But you can walk to a few restaurants and shops, as well as Corong Corong beach - which I am not sure is a great beach to swim in. It is more for the boats.

Staff were really friendly! Room gets cleaned everyday though they sometimes miss the balcony, like the ashtray and dirty towels hanging in the balcony. The gym was under construction - it was one of the reasons why we chose Moringa but upon arrival, gym wasn’t available and no communications prior arrival was made due to the gym renovation. Also we were informed that gym will be up and running on the 11th but still not operational upon our departure last 13th. Wifi also isn’t good - it keeps disconnecting. We understand during bad weather but we had good days there and wifi connection was the same.

The room was pretty and spacious, very clean, the staff were super nice. The layout and decoration of the whole place were great. Convenient location, just minutes away from the center of El Nido by Tuktuk. It was pleasant to sit in the restaurant by the pool. Our shower had a problem. Sometimes there was very little water pressure, but when it was normal the water would start flowing out of the shower space out and half of the bathroom became a puddle... They really need to fix that. Also, the menu in the restaurant could be somewhat improved, and then I'm sure the guests would eat in more as it is very beautiful out there. The current menu is not very flexible with the options.

The hotel facilities (pool, restaurant) are generally good. Breakfast is available from a menu and is also good. The rooms in the hotel are of a very low standard and desperately need a refresh!! We were given a room with a strong smell of mold. We changed rooms and the replacement room we were given also had bad smells. The cost of the hotel is high and we expected a completely different standard than what we received...

Spacious, beautiful rooms. Nice aesthetics, facilities, and friendly staff There was a black out in one of the nights we stayed and there was no power backup in the area where we're at (we were at the hotel's restaurant when it happened).

Fabulous hotel, boutique and beautiful pool, fabulous facilities with very relaxing massages available, highly recommend and would definitely stay again Beach access 5 minutes walk down the main road and through a neighbouring resort/side road, thought hotel was slightly pricey but that might just be El Nido
