The place looked lovely and fancy, with an immaculate garden and walkways, entry and bungalows, and the view from farther down of the islands is incredible, and the restaurant was nice, while the rooms were also nice, nicely decorated, ignoring the giant TV that we had no need for, comfortable beds, excellent AC, and I was very pleased, and proud that I'd selected such a nice place for my guests. I'd like to know why the staff found it necessary to play music in the restaurant area at all hours of the morning, day and evening. Why can't there just be silence. I'm not a Buddhist sitting in silent meditation, I listen to music in my car, use headphones to listen to music in my own home, but when I want to think, or sleep, or go outside for a walk, I turn it off. Why can't you turn it off? My son said his water was brown in his room and the staff said they checked the room and didn't see any issues. If I hadn't been sick with food poisoning I may have investigated further. As I was prostrate in bed for 18 hours of my three day trip, and on boats touring for day 1 and day 3, I figured he'd handle it but he didn't. And without evidence, as the staff wrote in an eloquent letter that Claude.ai says they must have gone to hospitality college and used a form to craft, they explained that they would not issue a refund of any kind, thank you ma'am/sir. Which is fine I guess, but I get to write a review and you don't. The road to get here is atrocious and everyone in El Nido should be ashamed of the lack of infrastructure and attention to fixing these issues. The road goes through the beach and at high tide through the ocean. Completely unsafe and unacceptable.

The staff at the property were kind and helpful when we needed assistance. The property grounds were well-maintained, and the breathtaking view from the beach in front of the property was a highlight. The food at the on-site restaurant was also good. We booked a three-night, four-day stay in an oceanfront bungalow. As soon as we checked in, my family noticed ants crawling all over the bathroom floor and in the room adjacent to it. I tried to overlook the issue since we were near the beach. However, that night, when I woke up to use the restroom, I found a cockroach scurrying around. I managed to suppress my scream to avoid waking my family. I attempted to kill it myself, but it escaped. The following night, my son woke up in the middle of the night and found the cockroach again. This time, he managed to kill it. The ants were a persistent problem throughout our stay. We contacted the front desk for assistance, and they brought ant spray to treat the restroom. Another issue we encountered was that the hotel never cleaned our room during our entire stay.
-
The only real downside was the bugs, and you cant really fault the nest for that. Mostly the ants were troublesome on the terrace and even in the room. Perhaps some peet control measured could be improved. It did not have a huge impact one our stay however.

Restaurant was okay Faculty was very stingy with bathroom supplies like toilet paper and towels and staff went through my luggage.

Amazing views On the last day the smell of rotten sewer filled the room. Moved us to another room but all our stuff was still in original. Nothing was offered.

The resort itself was amazing. The only thing was that the pool pictures on booking.com didn't match the pool in person. That being said, the staff was amazing from the front desk to the room maintenance. But I wish to point out Gino and Ella. Ella meets my family and me every morning at the restaurant on the property with the biggest smile. This impressed me because she worked in the restaurant by herself. She was friendly and inviting, explaining the policies and sometimes going above and beyond to make sure my family and I had what we needed. She offered the best service, and I was VERY impressed. Gino drove us to the Town Square every time we needed to go, had great conversations with us all, and answered questions that were important to us, as we were new to El Nido Resort and Palawan. He recommended tours and left it to us to decide, never pushing or demanding. He would open the door for my wife and daughter to exit and was VERY respectful to them. I was very unhappy with the drive from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. That 5-hour drive to the resort on 31 May 2026 was terrible because the van's air conditioner broke down an hour after leaving Puerto Princesa. The driver was amazing and apologized for the van's air conditioning. He tried to repair it while we stopped for a restroom break to no avail. I was given back some money for the inconvenience, but the memory still lives in my mind as I sweated profusely. The drive from El Nido to Puerto Princesa was satisfactory. This drive was better than the previous drive since the air conditioning was more satisfactory. The driver took us to eat, dropped us at the airport departure area, and assisted the porter with offloading our luggage. My entire experience in traveling and staying, as well as returning home, was amazing, even with the small, faulty details, the close to perfection treatment by the drivers and staff at El Nido more than made up for the experience. I already made a reservation to return in 2027, partly because my wife and daughter stressed that they want to come back.

We loved staying here! The property was outside of town but the hotel did offer a free Tuk Tuk ride to the town square which was a nice touch. They also offered free rides back before 10pm. Any time we would message them for a ride, the Tuk Tuk was there within 5 minutes. The property also offered free breakfast which was a nice touch. The only downside was the bathroom in the room was quite small and was slightly dated. We did notice a few bugs in our room but that's also part of staying on a property near water so we did not mind

The property is in a very nice and beautiful location. Stunning views which I Love so much while having breakfast and dinner.

The view was absolutely beautiful and definitely the highlight of the stay. However, the room was very basic for the price, and the food quality could be improved

No complaints.

Loved people were very nice and it was a beautiful resort

The staff were amazing and very accommodating, except a lady who I believe is the owners wife. On two occasions we witnessed her be extremely unprofessional and rude to her staff. One night she was pacing behind the reception desk shouting and her employees. Other than that, the hotel was great. Good breakfast and good options at the restaurant. We loved the free 5 minute tuktuk’s rides into town. Beautiful sunset! On two occasions we witnessed the owners wife be extremely unprofessional and rude to her staff. One night she was pacing behind the reception desk shouting and her employees. What makes this worse, is that this lady saw us in the Recpetion area and carried on shouting. This was very off putting and difficult to watch; I’m not sure I would stay here again. What

The staff were very attentive and hospitable. The room was clean and spacious. Nothing really.

The location! The staff One of the rooms ac wasn’t functioning well
-
It’s a little far (but still walkable) to the main area.
-
I like the neatness of the resort and it has an interesting set-up with a beautiful view of Cadlao island. It’s the road leading to the resort, although it’s a short distance but I’m hoping the local government will do something about it.

Very nice!

The location was close enough to the town center to be walkable, but far enough that you weren't bothered with the noise from town if you just wanted to relax at the hotel. Service and staff were outstanding. The view from the property was amazing; breakfast in the morning with the view of Cadlao Island in the distance was surreal. Transportation was readily available; free if just going to town but reasonable pricing if taking a trip to some of the other distant beaches. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Didn't have any issues during the stay. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to those visiting El Nido.
