This hotel is advertised as the "newest" hotel in Elko. If this is what management sees as new then I am too picky. While it was clean it was dated. Not enough outlets to plug everything in. You could see where maintainance had been done, although I don't think it was professionally done. For the price it was suitable.

Checked in late for just a night. Check in staff was great. Mentioned to the morning staff that my room was not clean and just got a “sorry, thanks for letting us know”. Floors had obviously not been swept. There was a half pill on the floor of my room and a large piece of plastic. Pretty disappointed in the property since they advertise it as the “newest hotel in Elko”. The newest hotel should be better than this.

The updating of the room was good. The parking lot was in need of new surfacing and ridding of extraneous refuse materials like old ac units which may also be from the vacant hotel next door. Some of the windows had cracked and broken vinyl frames. Call Vikki at Window World Reno for all new windows for the building. New windows really may give the building exterior a good look and be much more energy efficient. Exterior stucco work and paint would also go a long way in improving the overall appearance of the building.

The biggest issue was cleanliness: while taking a shower, I noticed long pieces of black hair stuck to the shower wall, which forced me to get out immediately and completely ruined the experience. While the rest of the room appeared clean at first glance, finding that made me seriously question whether the entire bathroom and room had actually been properly sanitized. When I called the front desk to report it, I was simply told, "I'm sorry, I'll let the manager know," with an offer to switch rooms. Beyond the hygiene issue, the hotel lacks convenience for families. They do not have cribs available, and the in-room mini-fridge did not have a freezer compartment. To top it off, the breakfast selection looked unappetizing, so we skipped it and just grabbed a bagel elsewhere before hitting the road. For a newer hotel at this price point, we expected much better. We will not be returning.

Very clean and quiet room

Check in and check out were painless. The room is spacious but they have very thin walls so you can hear everything at night from your neighbors and the hallway.

The location is great, staff nice and helpful, the room very comfy and large, and good breakfast included. Plenty of close free parking. A good Thai restaurant is just across the street, too.

Most motels. Decor looked second hand. The renovations were good but decor looked like second hand store. While I did not really care thought it did not go with the renovations that were done.

The morning of - the power went out- there’s no backup power and rooms went dark. Ask for compensation- none given.

Limited parking, especially with long trucks and trailers. Had to run ac all night as hotel was hot. Ac was loud. Lamps didn’t work. One didn’t even have a cord. Limited tv channels.

I think the biggest thing for us was the bed was super hard and hurt my husband's shoulder and back. He ended up sleeping on the couch. When checking in I also swore that the room I chose had a huge bathtub our room did not and the bathroom fire alarm was hanging in the bathroom. It was not the same room that I chose. Breakfast was fairly common for free breakfast, we choice to eat at restaurant and skip it.

You pay over 100 for the room cant watch TV or stream says its not connected. The outlets dont work the shower is missing parts and needs to be cleaned the bed sucks hard as a rock. The pillows are flat. For a hotel that was just remodeled they didn't do a good job at making sure everything works.

Good easy place to stay!!

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would recommend is replacing or servicing the AC unit. It was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Other than the noisy AC, everything was great.

The room was extremely clean. The lady at the front desk checking us in was so helpful and friendly.

It was better than I imagined!
-
Decor reminds one of a Bulgarian hotel during communism. The bed was comfy, however.
