Parkhotel Sonnenberg Eltville

Not far from city Centre. No complaints

The breakfast was way more than what we expected. There was literally something for everyone and special request were met. I did note expect to have ingwar soft as a kicker but it was a great addition. Although my wife says everything was fine, personally I thought the fridge was a bit too small. I know for the average traveler its probably more that what they would need. However If you went to the local store and bought beverages to bring back, the little fridge isn't big enough to hold much. Still I cannot say much because, its better to have a tiny fridge, than no fridge at all.

Breakfast was excellent. We like the layout and it lends to not wasting food which normally is the case with too much food laid out in the buffet. Not much to say here other than the price was a bit too high, more reasonable would be €135 incl breakfast. That said, the hotel appeared to be full so something to be said for that.

Breakfast offers a wide array of choices. The room was comfortable and the balcony a plus. All was excellent.

The breakfast was very good indeed. A good choice and everything in the buffer style presented in individual small dishes. The staff were very helpful indeed with a few requests that I had. The bar and bistro/food options/facilities are quite basic and maybe something I would only use if I was very late back for work and too tired to find somewhere else for a drink/eat. But ok not really a problem at all.

Feels like a loved family run hotel rather than a standard chain. Breakfast excellent, interesting and delicious options alongside good quality staples. Liked the honesty bar. Beautiful secluded garden too! Ideally could be a little closer to town centre but only a short walk away. Advantage of this position is that setting is quiet and peaceful.

The room was spacious, staff very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was great! Free parking for a happy bonus too. The bedding and especially the pillows were not great quality. Thin, lumpy and a rather sad state of of affairs. Not the best night sleep sadly.

quiet location, a five minute walk to the centre of town. The hotel is in a quiet residential area with good parking, breakfasts are good quality with a wide choice. Reception staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall enjoyed the stay very much and would use this hotel again. nothing

The room is spacious. Bedding, shower and toilet, very disappointing for a hotel considered 4 stars. A lot of noise very early in the morning. Did not respect the recommendations requested before arrival.

Comfortable modern rooms. Good shower facilities. A/c available but cool night so not required. Breakfast was odd.
