Fantastic location

The breakfast was good, but the staff was not particularly trained for the job. The reception staff was chaotic. The old building is very beautiful, but the windows need modernized insulation. Condensate runs down the inside of the windows. However, the bathroom was excellently renovated and equipped.

Staff were really friendly and gave us some great recommendations during our short stay. Breakfast tasty and good selection. Our room was more like a split level apartment so felt really spacious. Comfy bed. Fantastic, central location and had a lovely courtyard bar which was handy Only downsides/recommendations, the safe in our room didn't work. Would have been good to have black out blinds as the morning light flooded the room.

It's in the heart of the city, they got a parking lot which is convenient. It clean, spacious, confortable but very minimalistic. This is an old barn which was converted into modernized buildings. Be prepare to use the stairs, so pack wisely. I saq 3 buildings, one for reception, one where you take your breakfast - great quality, and one for the rooms. The staff were friendly and accomodating. No compliment items in the room. Like toothbrush, toothpaste, water or the option to have drinks in your room. There is an all around soap/shampoo though. But because I am only staying for one night it did not bother me.

We loved the courtyard and the flammkuchen that they served. Lovely breakfast (area). It was surprisingly kid friendly, with some things for them to play with. Nice informal atmosphere. Very good and long complimentary wine tasting. The rooms were a bit dusty and the curtains did not close fully

Good breakfast in a nice location. Convenient parking for our cars. Evening dinner was limited to pizzas, could have been more choices.

We love this hotel. The location, the beautiful old buildings, the friendly staff. It’s always the first place we look when we come to the Rheingau Nothing.

Breakfast is self-serve but includes many choices to select from. The coffee machine + choices is excellent. Dining rooms are interesting architecture and all utensils are provided in a basket on each table. The 7:30 am opening is good for timing. Don't know of anything that could be improved other than perhaps the parking feature (it's a very tight turn between structures to enter the space. But I don't know how this can be improved upon). It's a winery lodge/inn and a quaint place to stay. The wine/beer garden is an added touch for gathering with friends in the evening hours.
