Leucadia Beach Inn

A lot of noise from traffic and train during the night.

Easy parking at and around the property. Clean room, we'll maintained. Very friendly staff. Kitchen quite functional. Price fair. Location very convenient. Much more affordable than most other local options.

We loved our stay in this quaint little motel. The beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for all the tourist areas we visited.

Cute little place & clean. It was a bit far from the beach - we didn't have a car. It was easy to get an uber to Moonlight Beach which was 2 miles away. Great dinner just 1 mile away. Beds were comfy, you could hear the train, but that's everywhere.

The unit was very big and beds were very comfortable. Parking was a challenge but front and back parking was convenient. there’s always parking on the street even though you don’t want leave your car full of stuff on the street. the train was a daily noise-since it is across the street. Other than that pretty quiet area. Very close to several beaches. Moonlight Beach and Ponto.All in all good place to stay.

Clean, well decorated room and in a great location.

The kitchenette efficiency was cute and located close to a market and restaurants. The closest beach access is 0.6 miles away. Not a bad walk. The kitchenette was our only disappointment. The cookware consisted of one scratched up frying pan and.a large sauce pan. There wasn't any oven ready cookware. No mixing bowls. No chopping knifes, only one serrated bread knife.

Beautiful, extremely clean pet friendly little motel. We loved our room, and the kitchenette was so cute and convenient. Front desk was extremely difficult to reach the whole time, but when we did speak with them they were very polite and helpful.

Cute, Quaint, just enough, and in the right spot for everything. Happy with my stay. Parking is in the front but also in the back and next door, street as well with no permit.

The room was clean and the place was accessible to many restaurants and accessible to beach.

If you're like me and my family who love a mix of a vintage motel with modern upgrades and reasonable rates, you'll adore the Leucadia Beach Inn too. We stay here at least twice a year whenever we visit San Diego and highly recommend it. Just one example of their above and beyond customer service is their manager, who had aired out our room and turned on its air conditioner prior to our June 10th arrival so the room was fresh and cool when we checked in. Kudos to you and your great staff! ❤️

Parking was a little tight but that was to be expected for the location. Hotel was nice and the manager was very friendly and helpful.

Charming and good folks running the place. Old school encinitas vibes and affordable.
