Crystal Plaza Luxury Business Hotel

It might look rough from the outside but the property is secure and well-maintained. Clean and comfortable accommodation with excellent connectivity to Kochi city centre, Fort Kochi and other areas. The shower was great, with proper strong pressure and good temperature. Complimentary water, AC and fridge were very very welcomed. The staff is nice and helpful! Sometimes the Velocity lounge bar noise could be heard in our room, particularly on Friday to Sunday nights. The bed in the room could be more comfortable with a better mattress.

The place, hotel and the staffs were all exceptional. We liked the ambience and the room as well as their service. I'd definitely recommend to those who expects top-notch service.

Hotel room was fine, beds were comfortable, excellent shower. Felt secure, excellent lifts. Excessive noise from Velocity lounge which transmits into the bedrooms. Also way too much shouting and loud conversations going on in corridors at 3am. This is not good and should be prevented.

The location of the hotel is its biggest advantage. It is close to some of most convenient modes of transport- for instance the water metro from High Court to Fort Kochi beach area is barely a two minute walk from the hotel. Likewise, the breakfast provided within this price range was good- it contained sufficient variety to get by 4 days of our stay. The staff, most of them were kind and polite, obliging as well. Some of the drawbacks were the noise that filters up to the second floor from the pub downstairs. Its audible enough to keep a light sleeper awake beyond 11 or 12 am. There are mosquitoes in the room that bit my sister and the bites gave her a red rash. That happened on the 3rd day of our stay. The doors of the room were jammed and opening the doors with a manual key was problematic. A swipe card system would have given us less bruises and scrapes. If you speak Malayalam, its an advantage to be able to communicate what you want. At times, staff were unable to understand what we were asking for. On the last morning we saw a rat in the breakfast lounge- that is highly unacceptable and must be looked into
