Super nice staff

Staff was great, hotel rooms were run down.

I really liked the U of O themed decor and how close it was to everything. Very easy to get to. Weather was beautiful and its a walkable location.

Comfortable beds, nice location. So many reasons to not stay here! I booked the room in advance for $300, the day of my booking the room price was actually $236, they refused to refund the difference or give me the lower cost. When we got to the room, the bathroom smelled like urine, and the bathtub was full of hair. I had to give my babies a bath, and the water would not drain, globs of hair were stuck in the drain. My booking said breakfast was included. However, their breakfast is à la cart and cost money. Including drip coffee. When I talked to the front desk, they gave me two $15 breakfast vouchers, however this did not cover much more than a bagel or muffin with drip coffee. I said there are four people in my party, and I asked if we could get four vouchers, but was denied. I got a muffin and a drip coffee, and it came to $12.50. She took my $15 voucher and refused to give me the $2.50 credit remaining. She said that balances were non-transferable even though I explained two of my family members still had not eaten. After already paying extra for the room, booking here because I needed breakfast included for my family, and very politely speaking to front desk staff I have decided this is likely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They do not care about customer service, nor are they family friendly.

Location of the hotel and hotel staff were excellent. The food at the Trophy Room bar was very good and a decent value. Only rated 4 stars due to a mildew smell in our room as well as a glitchy air conditioner.

We were centrally located so could walk everywhere which was awesome. Food on premises was good and our room was ultra quiet.

The room remained me of my parent’s basement where old out of date furniture and sibling’s childhood art goes to die. The waffle iron lamp was a nice touch but the fact that it didn’t work was disappointing. The dark brown wood paneling was the final ghastly touch. Face it, your hotel needs a major update. Yes, I get the Animal House reference, but all I want is a simple clean room where everything works. Sorry, but you asked three times!

Great location, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Valet was amazing specially Gage he did a great job in anticipating our needs we told him we were going to be in and out throughout our stay and he always had our car ready. Bar staff was amazing given how busy they were they did their best to accommodate everyone. Had a great stay rooms were spacious and clean we had a great view from our room. Definitely will be staying there again.

Fun, friendly atmosphere. Coffee, breakfast, bar, and restaurant were conveniently located, and gave us what we needed

Such an amazing place. Delicious food! Fantastic staff!
-
Lots of broken things in the room, the bathroom drain cover, the fire sprinkler, the back of the couch lamination, and terrible positioning of the a/c. Plus. The view from our room was a concrete roof, immediately. Not worth the price.
-
Pretty overpriced for what it was. Plumbing was iffy, wallpaper was falling off the walls, the sensors for the front entrance were glitchy, my room/elevator key didn’t work, and the staff overall seemed very young/inexperienced. Surprised because this is supposed to be one of the “nicer” hotels in town.

A great place to rest our heads.
