Renovations last year hardly noticeable. Mattress without a box spring? Come on. Just put the mattress on the floor. Slight mold in the shower area. Breakfast was cold every day. Attendant just spent time on the phone while the trash cans overflowed. First hot cup of coffee during our 5 night stay or any time during the day was day 4 at McDonalds. Trash in the entry way and elevator. A Marriott facility? I think not. Good towels and hot shower water however. Safe area.

Good hotel pool was smaller than expected

Cleaning staff 100% best. Took care our needs. Front desk folks were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Room had refrigerator and microwave and we needed it as we stayed there for 2 nights. Location worked.. about 20 minutes from beaches and Portsmouth.

I had a handicap room reserved because I was traveling with my mom. The room was NOT handicap friendly - I was expecting a tub (due to pictures of tub on webpage), the shower doors were VERY heavy and there were NO support bars in shower or a shower seat so she could be more stable. On a better note, the staff was great and the housekeeping staff were exceptional. It would have been great if the pool area also had a hot tub where you could soak achy joints after activities.

The staff was nice, check in was quick and easy, the girl at the breakfast was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good but they run out of the plastic knife and there was no option B!? The corridor and elevator cleanliness was questionable.

Our stay started off poorly. Check-in is at 4:00 PM. We arrived around 6:00 PM and were told that one of our rooms still wasn’t ready. We were also told we would have side-by-side rooms, but instead our rooms were across the hallway from each other. We were told both rooms would be exactly the same, yet they weren’t. The rooms themselves were filthy and poorly maintained. The floors were not vacuumed, swept, or mopped. Apparently, their idea of cleaning is using a giant lint roller. One room had an unflushed toilet, and there were no tissues—just an empty tissue box. Rooms are also not serviced daily. The air conditioning stopped working, which made the already uncomfortable room even worse. The rooms are extremely dark, with basically one main light between the beds and a desk lamp. The pillows are thin and hard, and the beds are extremely hard as well. They advertise the beds as queens, but they felt more like full-size beds. There are also no ice buckets and no safes in the rooms. The elevator is another concern. It jumps while you’re riding in it, and the inspection expiration date posted on it was already past due. I had to wait 45 minutes after check in time because the room wasn’t ready, the room in the picture when booking was twice the size of the room we were given and the refrigerator in the room didn’t work. When brought to the attention of staff I was told there was nothing they could do. The ice machine on the floor didn’t even work so we had warm water to drink in the room. Incredibly disappointed with my stay.

Breakfast was really good. Rooms were modern and clean but hotel was clearly short staffed. No one was at front desk at check in and no one answered the phone do we left and tried to sign in later. Very short staffed for cleaning as well. We were there 6 nights and the hotel was good, with good facilities but I cannot give it a higher rating due to these issues.

Le personnel sont extrêmement gentil. Le déjeuner inclus est complet,chaud,bon et en bonne quantité Hôtel est au goût du jour La chambre est parfaite avec plusieurs facilités (micro-ondes,réfrigérateur ,séchoir et télévision 50’,machine à glace sur l’étage)

I wanted to shower after a long sweaty day and get some sleep as I had a wake the next day. The shower and sink tap were so hot that I could not wash with either one without getting burned no matter what I tried - so I had to go to bed dirty and stinky and get up early the next morning. Needless to say, I booked a different hotel for the following nights.

The hotel it appears must have recently been renovated. It was clean. The breakfast was enough. That being said, coming off the noisy elevator, there were no signs on the wall indicating which way to proceed for the rooms. Do I go right or left for room #309? The ice machine was broken on the second floor. While our room was clean the bathroom ceiling light was broken and there was no ceiling light in the bedroom area. There was one mirror only - in the bathroom. Also inasmuch as the AC was working, the room felt extremely humid. The breakfast buffet was Ok. Scrambled eggs or fried egg, sausages and pancakes or French toast along with mini muffins, bagels, bread, cereal, yogurt and a fresh fruit. Nothing outstanding but enough. Given a choice not sure we’d stay here again.
