It cannot be any better - when it comes to being inside the hotel - the room the food the ambience the facilities - wow The view was marred by all the construction

Friendly staff—nice rooftop and restaurant—central location—good breakfast. Difficult to get to. Pedestrian location not easy to find or get near.

I got an upgrade cause in the initial room I had issues to sleep with the sound of the water from the pool that was above my room. So I got room 228 and I was very pleased, it was a bit bigger and very comfortable.

obsessed with this hotel! the rooftop with infinity pool MADE our stay in faro. the roof also had a perfect view of a stork nest with babies practicing before they fledge. hotel was perfectly clean. extremely spacious. staff was excellent and really went out of there way. nothing

This is a beautiful newer hotel! Our accommodation was perfectly located in the center of everything. The room was spacious and had a great bed. We loved everything except the overwhelming scent used to perfume sheets, & towels which triggered awful ALLERGIES. :( The breakfast was fabulous and we ate dinner there twice also. It was a little difficult to find the designated temporary parking, and then walk through the pedestrian area prior to check in, however, at checkout, they took us directly to our car in the transport van! Nice! This beautiful non-smoking hotel also needs to designate a few rooms as HYPO-ALLERGENIC! When we asked for help, the housekeeping staff tried to provide "new" sheets and towels with "less" scent, but the mattress and entire room seemed to hold the perfume.

The location was excellent; central to everything. The room was good with a balcony. At booking I was concerned about what is considered a king sized bed in Europe but this was the largest bed we've ever seen. :-) The staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The doorman even drove us to the bus station upon our departure. Honestly, not much that I can say that we did not like.

Not accessible by car. Must walk a short distance to hotel.

The location of this lovely, comfortable hotel was perfect for exploring the historic sites of Faro. Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating helping us to check in early and directing us to the public parking garage close by. Watching the sunset from the rooftop pool was an added bonus. No way to drive to hotel entrance made for a stressful arrival. Recommend better directions be given on where to park for check in.

Comfortable bed, good shower. Better lighting in bathroom and a makeup mirror with adjustments. We had supper in the restaurant, and it was not what we anticipated for a five star hotel. We both had the carbonara and regretfully have to say it was the worst we have ever had. We did eat most of it, thinking that maybe this is the way it is made in Faro. When asked about our meal, we did express our displeasure, and the manager did compensate for one meal which we appreciated. Overall, we did not think this hotel, or some of the younger, inexperienced staff members, and card entry/egress issues, did not meet five star standards to what we are familiar with in the past.

Just impeccably designed and appointed spaces throughout. The attention to detail in the rooms is top notch. The spaces are beautifully lit and the staff is wonderful. No issues.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location. Large, comfortable and quiet room. Excellent breakfast. The high-tech, in-room lighting controls were a bit confounding.

Absolutely lovely hotel with very friendly staff and a lovely rooftop pool terrace. Nothing. Faro centre itself, while being a good base, it a bit run down but the hotel is in the best part on a pedestrians only cobbled street.
