Dear Faro - Guest House

Space was clean and rooftop was a great bonus. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms luxurious. Noise from adjacent rooms was the only downside.

The TV had some issues, like YouTube wasn't working.

Beautiful stay! Loved it. Fast responses from host and 5min away from old town.

The location was great. The outside space and rooftop were lovely. East walking distance to shops and restaurants.

There is a lemon tree.

Clean room, nice facilities with small garden area and rooftop space. Great location and good value. If anything, the bed was too big for the room and breakfast at local cafe was basic.

The property is close to the train station and close to many good restaurants and shops. There wasn’t a thing that I didn’t like about the property.

There were a few flies in the room.

Good location for restaraunts /bars and old town No complaints

I'm a side-sleeper so the bed was a little firmer than I prefer. The view of the construction next door wasn't so nice, but we didn't see and were not disturbed by any work going on there during our stay.

Not much info about tourist attractions. It’s more for independent travelers.

The online staff needs to communicate more.. send email when breakfast location changes (2nd place was delicious!). The building is loud:doors that clang, windows that don't open and close.

The lovely ground floor garden with lemon trees was great to relax and chill out in the afternoons and being next to the kitchen very convenient to prepare meals to eat outdoors. Noticed there was a barbecue available but due to short stay did not use. Great plaace for families and group of friends to stay. Shared bathroom experience was a first, but due to close proximity to room was a bonus. On occasions the bathroom was left a bit untidy, expected with a shared bathroom but overall standard during stay was good.

5 minute walk to the train was great for a day trip to Portimao to do a Benqgil cave tour. Perfect location for day trips by train to many towns. Also only 5 minutes or less walk to the center of town. You will never need a taxi here. The street it was located on was a bit rough looking. I was horrified at first as I was not expecting this. We got over it fairly quickly though after seeing how nice it was inside and how walkable it is to town and the train

Air conditioning worked great! If I had been traveling with someone there would not have been a flat surfaces to lay our suitcases down to open up. Did not realize it was a shared bathroom durning booking but there weren’t alot of guests so it was ok.

Great location walkable to everything all good

I 100% felt like in my home away from home. This place is absolutely fantastic in every single aspect. Everything is wonderful, I have absolutely no “buts”.

Cute. Comfortable. Clean. Host was super responsive. Nice shower. Great location. Good breakfast looking over square. Recommend the latte. Nothing. It was perfect after a long international flight.
