Caneiros Luxury House & Suites

We loved how intimate the whole complex was and how easy it was to get to know the wonderful staff. In particular, we felt Alexandre and Ana went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. But everyone there were quite pleasant and attentive. It wasn’t crowded and noisy like other hotels can be, and that was just what we needed. The suite we had was amazing, and the common area facilities are top notch. The breakfast is perfect! If I had to give some constructive feedback it would be this. The bed was quite awful. It was hard as a rock, and that is no exaggeration. I’d suggest a foam topper in the least, to lend some comfort to it. As a side sleeper, I woke with hip and shoulder pain most days towards the end of our six night stay. The coffee machine in the room worked 4 out of 5 times we ran it. We were constantly cleaning up overflowing coffee.

Large comfortable room, excellent breakfast, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and gym. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Close to Caneiros beach and starting points of coastal walks.

Nice accommodations, beautiful pool, great breakfast, had a small gym, could walk to private beach with umbrellas just for guests. Finer appointments like area rugs were stained, setting faces road not initial setting expected, parking tight

The staff, the breakfast overlooking the pool, t everything was top notch. We had to leave at 3:45 AM for our flight the last day and they packed us a breakfast box along with fresh juice for the trip. Nothing

Our stay at Caneiros was extremely comfortable and relaxing!! Very clean and quiet.. Our daily breakfast was always enjoyable poolside ..Ana was great exceptionally attentive and a pleasure to talk to.. We will be back!! Leaving the property by car was always dangerous on that curve. There should be mirror so you could see oncoming traffic.

Clean, wonderful helpful welcoming staff, very nice beach club, comfortable beds, beautiful views! Would most certainly stay again. Thank you for a lovely vacation !

Breakfast was excellent and included. the hotel has two restaurants-one at the property and one at the beach. Both were excellent and, I'm sure, better than any of the tourist restaurants in the nearby towns Staff was very accommodating, personable and helpful.

A brilliant stay. Hotel was excellent and staff were fantastic.

Plenty of choice for great breakfast. The staff were always friendly and attentive. We also took lunches on most days which had good options.

Excellent location Close to beaches Breakfast was great On this particular visit didn’t like the washbasin, toilet and shower being situated in the room. Just didn’t feel comfortable.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic!

Beautiful rooms around a quiet oasis of a pool. Very close to the beach and a gourmet beach bar/restaurant. Easy taxi distance to Ferragudo and Carveiro. Very secure parking. Nothing comes to mind

I wished the pool operating hours were earlier/later. The bed was very firm.

Breakfast was exceptional, as was the service from Ana. Food for lunch/dinner was great and prices were quite reasonable. Service from all staff was excellent. Nothing

Exceptional

There was a coffee machine in the room but the coffee pods and tea sachets were NOT complementary. They were part of the pricey mini bar. In any proper hotel that includes a coffee machine anywhere I've been (from Singapore to Paris) the coffee pods and tea are complementary. I think the hotel management should correct this policy. Also, we got one bottle of natural (non gaseous) water as part of the complementary room set but it was never replenished. As a luxury boutique hotel the least management could do is provide bottled water for the room.
